OP hasn't been active since back in November. Most of the numbers/profitability have changed.

Anyone reading this in the future could also go to Bitcoin -> Mining Speculation board to discuss any BTC hardware.

Both of them are good , it depends on what kind of coins you are going to mine. Baikal has multiple algoritm and s15 has one algo. You will not be able to get a good profit with 0.14usd/kwh electricity cost in today coin market price.

Block halving is coming.
I agree with xxkaiwaxx but not because of multiple algo Antminer s15 is power hungry compared to Baikal G28 if you have cheaper electricity rate or free power source Baikal G28 would be a better choice compared to Antminer s15.

You can check the specs and profitability below.

- Antminer s15 profitability and specs
- Baikal BK-g28 profitabitility and specs

I believe that bitcoin difficulty increases much faster than mining in altcoin

So Baikal BK-g28 is the best option.

Baikal miners are generally the better choice due to being capable of mining multiple algorithms. As long as most of the algos are still popular/used that is.
Antminer only has 1 algo to choose from, yet Baikal G28 has 8, with more to be added at a later date.
I'd go for the Baikal personally.

Any hardware for mining sooner or later breaks down.
Therefore, it is best to invest in an expensive Assembly for mining, which will last for many years

I not see any info about life on miners but think Phuket are a quit tuff environment. Ambient 30C and sometimes high humidity with a little salt in.  I thinking of long term mining and hope ROI could be possible before brake down.

Are you suggest the miner must be in a low humidity A/C server room before can last long?

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
Maybe this will help. This is just an estimate provided by those sites, I am not sure how reliable the information is.

The Baikal BK-G28 could get you the following results based on the most profitable coin.

For the Antminer just enter your electricity price in the provided field and see what it comes up with.

Hi guys.
Against all odds Smiley I considerate again to buy a new miner and like to know what you thinks about the two different approach to mining crypto long term.

I got this offer from a big dealer in China and like to know what you think to choose.

Antminer S15 with psu Total $1810 delivered.
Baikal BK-G28, Lianli power supply total $1590 delivered.

I don’t know how long mining hardware lives but the two not use much power and if the S15 runs in economy mode properly many years. I think ?.

What you thinks about ROI with a 0.14 usd electricity cost and today's BTC price as fixed.

Appreciate any input. Smiley
