I switched off all devices on the router and tried to find it without success.

it worked with another computer.
I also feel like it's a network problem.

What do you mean that it works on another computer?
If you can access it on another computer not from your PC the culprit is your PC and maybe you are using a VPN or something preventing you from accessing the miner's IP.

I can no longer get the miner to run with BraiinOs.
Unfortunately, I have difficulties to change the firmware, as no other firmware can be found up to now

Check this section "Mining software (miners)" for other custom firmware. You can flash them through an SD card and it seems asic.to have firmware for this unit.

If it's red light your issue is related to IP. Maybe you set the miner before with static IP and the IP that your miner used is currently connected to another device.

Can you try to hold the IP report button lets see if there are changes in signal lights?

Or much better to disconnect all connected devices on the same network, reboot the router, and then run the miner again.

If it doesn't work your last hope is to flash it through an SD card as suggested above.

Just added this in case you still having an issue finding the IP of your miner try the suggestion from the link below

- Knowing the IP but still can’t access to miner’s Dashboard

I have an S17 + where the red LED lights up permanently.
Since the LED has been on, I can no longer find it in the network.

Assuming you performed the reset in the correct way "which I doubt", then the control board is likely dead, but before jumping to a conclusion, you have to Sdcard the control board.

Go to this link > https://service.bitmain.com/support/download?product=Flashing%20SD%20card%20with%20image

Download (SD_S17+.rar), get a Sdcard ready, format it to FAT32, and follow the steps mentioned here.

But before doing all that, try to use a different LAN cable.

I tried to reset the button, unfortunately without success.

Do you have an idea what the problem is?
