I have bought the S1s, theS2s and the S3s. Not any S4s yet.

A good company with good reputation. Can be trusted.

Although there are a few other companies worth to try.

I run my S4 on a household electrical outlet in the United States. The outlet is on a 20 amp circuit. Working out just fine for about a month now.

I have an S4. I am afraid to run it on household power supply. I am based in India. Is it necessary to run my S4 in commercial line in a shop? Also, will it create problems if I explain for what I rent the shop because Bitcoin is restricted in India? According to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_Bitcoin_by_country

i send yesterday a mp to bitmain about the payment but didnt answer yet.

Im going to the bank to pay my order in couple of hours!!

16 antminers s4 lalalalala Grin Grin Grin

Now the question would be... do you have a free 200 AMPS to power all of your miners? Assuming youre on 120V circuit.

my wife tell me the same no i dont think i can run more than 6 at the same time at home

I wanna rent a space 24/7 security but for this i need to sell this batch asap and get good profit and after that think in open a big farm

Payment done allready now wait notices from bitmain

you really should read the official thread. They had/have a lot of issues with power supplies catching fire, etc.

Bitmain will give anyone free coupons if you ask them. Don't get scammed into buying them.

Personally as most others here have already done, we've gone the spondoolies route. SP20. But once again, do your research and don't believe what paid employees post.

I thought they fixed this problem with the power supplies in batch 2?

hi, i have one question im order 16 units of antminer s4

tomorrow i need to pay in usd by wire tranfer thats correct?

how much cost the fee of one wire transfer??

how long for get the miners in my home??

im send couple of text today to bitmain but he didnt answer me

I've made 2 orders directly with Bitmain using wire transfer from the United States. The payment was acknowledged within 1 day and I had my miner in only 4 business days. The wire transfer fee will cost around $40-45 for an international wire transfer fee. It was $45 for me through Wells Fargo bank.

The problem with the s4 were mostly due to PSU issues on batch 1. Batch 2 is now available, which is what I have. The 1 I have in my home has not had any issues and I have it overclocked at 212.5MHz which is averaging 2150GH/s.

I also recommend the SP20 from spondoolies. The S4 and SP20 currently give you the best bang for your buck and are also the most efficient(power) miners. approx 0.69W/GH for s4 and the SP20. You can underclock both to get better power savings, but its unlikely that what you save in power will offset what you lose in BTC from reduced hashing power. Read about each on their respective threads, as there is more than enough info about both of these. Do yourself a favor and try to read as much as possible before taking the plunge.

If you go the bitmain route, stick with the S3's and your own power supplies. Decent ones like evga or corsair.

The spondoolies route, here is a recent video

you should set the diff to 2048 on a S4

btcguild
mmpool.org
and maybe antpool are working fine

Thank you for this advice.

I have changed the difficulty on Ghash.io to 2048!

Hash rate has gone up a little bit. Range is now 1.7 to 1.9.

I ordered one and it was shipped very quickly. Arrived on-time and in great condition.

It has been running for 3 days now.

I seem to be getting an amount of rejected shares though.

It is running at 2 TH/s but due to the amount of rejected shares, it is effectively running at 1.7 TH/s.

I am not sure what to do about this. I am running it on Ghash.io pool.

As long as you buy from the official site you're safe:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/antminer-s4-discussion-and-support-thread-796839

They're one of the most reputable Miner companies out there. This should be in the hardware section btw
