Hi Virosa, I tested  and dropped the same problem.

http://s27.postimg.org/r2v9tylar/Sin_t_tulo.jpg

Its dead?  Huh

Thats how my S5 with a dead board read. Try removing the good board then plugging the dead board in different slots. Then if you can try plugging it in a different controller. Any troubleshooting after this gets kinda complicated. But keep in mind a dead S5 board is not worthless.

Hi guys, my problem is exactly the same, I think that can use the post for request help.

I have 2 S5 connected each on to a psu, i ahve one week the miner with ~600Mh hashrate, I just shutdown and power up for solve the problem, the last days the ASIC status show

oooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooo-oo
in the chain 1, but at the moment the chain 1 is cooled and now show

Cry, i switched the psu and the ethernal cord, I reinstated to defaults default, and decrease the frequency to 325m and nothing, without solve! I wasted all my ideas and need help guys!.  Embarrassed

Well try 100mhz, to see if its a power limitation on the PSU. Maybe the second board is dead but the first one is not, so its weird to see it drop a chip. See if that make the second blade work.

You should try with another, trustable PSU, see if its the same thing. And then you should try just running one board at the same time.

Collect all the results and post them.

So thank you all for the help.

Im a little bit frustrated because 1 of the boards is dead after 4 Days. (i waited 2 Month for it, because i ordered it in Canada). I try to contact the support that they send me a new. Sad

I wish you great time. Wink

Thanks again
Greetings
Dean

you are getting better with x's reducing and 0's increasing.

drop to freq 300 let it run 1 hour and check for results.

after 1 hour run shoot us a screen shot.

Hold on before throwing this board away;

I'm not fully convinced your board is dead. Some chips on it are still running. Did you try to power everything off, unplug the PSU, wait 10 seconds, replug everything, then power everything back on? Its called a power cycling and waiting for the charge to dissipate before repowering it on is important.

Every single time i've had a bunch of x's i always fixed it with this. A soft reboot does not work when there chips go derp like this.

And if this does not work, i would still suspect it would be more likely for the PSU to be bad than the board. Did you try with another, good PSU?

Need new glasses on the x & 0  Smiley However the x seem to have reduced with the lower frequency so you could try dropping another couple of notches and see what that does?

The row of zeros on the status screen indicates that it has not found any of the ASIC's on one of the boards, this is confirmed by the Red light not being on indicating that it is not hashing.Try re plugging both ends of the cable to that Hash board, also worth trying it in the other socket on the controller board. Then take the plastic cover off and check for anything that does not look right on the board.

If all that fails you seem to have a faulty hash board...

Rich

I replugged both end and used the cable from the other board. Not Working

if you look he has one zero  0 and many x's

@ op  you are at freq 356.25   my guess is your power supply is too weak

try freq 325

@ op  the exact make/model  and power(watts)  of your power supply please.

This is my power supply:  http://bitcoinware.net/collections/frontpage/products/900w-1200w-psu-with-4x-soldered-pci-e-plugs-server-grade-hp-dps-1200fb

I set the frequency to 325

result:  http://www.pic-upload.de/view-28531711/20151009_183403.jpg.html

But im still beetween 500-600GH

Sounds like one board has stopped hashing. Have you done a reboot? If that fails power down & check the Hash cables, unplug & replug, then power up again.

Rich

Hi Rich i did a reboot and unplug & replug then powerd it up again.

As above!

Also give more details, especially if it's powered by 1 or 2 power supply’s (1psu/blade)

Good luck!

Im using 1 power supply.

Give us a screenshot for the miner status page on the AntMiner's webserver page. A picture of your setup, your psu connected to it. Does it beep, is the light on the cold board on and if the red led is flashing, always on, or always off.

It dont make a beep sound, on the right side the red light is off, on the front of the antminer de light slowly blinks green

Hey Guys

Ive a Problem with my 3 Days old Antminer S5. I started mining Bitcoins 3 Days ago with the mining Pool mining.bitcoins.cz.
I scored a hashrate of 1180 GH avg. but Today it broke down to 500-600 GH.
The ping and Tempature is good. I also the frequency on mining.bitcoins.cz

Can you help me?
