Yes. You need to underclock it a lot.Other than under clocking the S9 to make less noise, is there anything special about the S7-LN fans that make it so quiet?

Yes. You need to underclock it a lot.BTW, changing the frequency is not possible with the newer autotune frequency setting S9s.
I recently purchased an S7-LN on a whim. Albeit low THs, I love how quiet this thing is! Does anyone know how Bitmain managed to pull off such a quiet miner? Does anyone have tips on how to bring my s9 to a reasonable noise level?
