unplug the hash boards and just power up the controller by itself to verify fan functionality. The only other thing that would cause it is a loose heatsink on the chip the software pulls its temperature readings from. Either that or it is close to shorting out.

Sounds like the fan is busted. I would try not to turn on your machine again, as you can easily damage your processor. Try to find another way to test the fans, and replace the defect.

Dear friends,

I have an antminer S7 was working till late perfect without problems.

Last days it started to stop working as it was reaching temp at hash-boards 95/98.

What is interesting is that I did turn the miner off for 10hours and took it from the mining farm house to my apartment to troubleshoot it but still the same problem.

What is that I'm confused is that the temp at hashing boards reaches temp 95 1 min after powering ON.

In my apartment where I'm troubleshooting it it is a very clean and 10C temp in the room.

Any idea what can cause the miner to reach max temp even after working for only 1 min.

Thanks
