The loudest thing is the pump, i tried taking it off the rad and in-casing in with foam pads but didnt seem to help, its not overly loud, but noticeable, the fans after the boot up are not loud at all, however the hydro does run hotter then like a t17 or s9

i'm interested to know how ASIC boards are joined with the water cooler heat sink

same here, and that would be my only temptation in buying one - to see how it is done and maybe repeat it in more efficient miners.

Id rather not rip it apart, it is basically a new asic miner, there must be demand for a firmware to make this hydro more efficient. Bitmain's provided firmware only works on like 2 or 3 settings, and of-course none of the underclock ones work, just get a error in kernel log and reverts to default

was purchased locally on kijiji, the boxes were sealed, he may of had them for a while, but nothing was open, i had to plum everything and work all the air out of the system, i ran for two weeks, open to offers

how is it only 2 weeks old? Bitmain has not sold the hydro versions for quite a while.

2 weeks old S9 hydro, works 100% includes psu and bracket to hold PSU to miner, have all oem boxes only selling because i got two T17s and i dont have anymore 240 volt plugs, asking $450 located in Manitoba
