You are right i was accessing a cashed site. I seem to have been able to somehow reset it to factory firmware but its still not mining. At least I can connect to the device itself now to have a look around. I went into the kernel log and I CTRL+Fed "error", 0 matches. I rebooted the device through the webpage and this is the end of the log:

Now that im able to connect to the device and it seems like I can communicate alright is there a way for me to flash "new" firmware though the interface without having to completely disassemble the miner? Thanks for the help by the way.
