How long did you let it run? Newest version of machines and firmware are reported to take 45 minutes or longer before finishing the initial boot process and normal running parameters are set. Sounds excessive, yes, but that's the way BiteMe, I mean ShitMain, oh crap, Bitmain forked up the miner software on their machines.

clicked on ip report and reset the miner but now i can't access it using the old ip

thats because you did a factory reset which wipes all settings and returns it to DHCP

yes, just disconnect all the power plugs AND the I/O ribbon on one hashboard and power up.

That's what we're trying to help you figure out.  Have you disconnected the power and I/O to one of the boards and run like that?  It really sounds like your PSU isn't supplying enough power for all 3 hashboards, run it with only 2 to help find out.

is it ok to connect the psu to only 2 hashboard and the controller pci-e ?

When one of my miners changes IP I log on to my router and look for it there.  You should see it in the logs.
And, yes, the I/O cable is the ribbon cable from the controller to each hash board.

Pour milk over the PSU to promote electron flow.

However, do NOT pour milk on the S9, as it is allergic to milk (it will break, the PSU is safe though)

so is that milk there on the psu from the begining ? i didn't notice

I've run across this with a single card before but never the whole miner. A soft reboot usually clears it up. If that doesn't work you can try the IP Reporter reset described on the Bitmain forum page here https://enforum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/3957

Thank you but did you see that white thing on the psu ?

The white stuff is silicone caulk to prevent things from rattling or vibrating.  It also acts as an insulator.  It's fine, there is no issue even if the apw was completely filled with it.  Smiley

You could try disconnecting the power connections, and I/O ribbon cable, to one of the hashboards and then see how it runs.  That might help determine what is going on here.
-i.e. if it runs fine with two cards powered, no matter which two, that would point to the PSU...

what is the I/O ribbon cable ?
do you mean here that i power only 2 card or what ?
