I personally use 90-95% isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle. Cleans things up and I don't have to worry about issues with damaging any conformal coating.

Water and soap are not advisable to clean the hashboards because electrolytic capacitors may blow up or other parts may become shorted.

The recommended cleaner to any board is thinner lacquer flo or just strong air blower this is enough for dust but if the hashboard is full of rust lacquer flo thinner is the best to use to remove the rust or corroded.

Heard about the water/soap method...but seriously cant see that working out well Grin Shocked

Indeed, but i saw it done to hundreds of S9 hash boards, many considered dead... Not all would revive, but some did, and that was amazing enough.

Thank for the reply. Antminer worked fine 2 months but now it stopped work. Can you please check in logs?

~snip~

Can you try some methods below? This is sometimes a program issue.

- Perform a hard reset follow the guide from here "Antminer Factory reset Guide then run the miner for a while and check it again.

- Flash the miner with this firmware "Antminer-S9-all-201711171757-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF.tar.gz" (If not yet flash with 2019 firmware) run it for a while and check it again.

- Test the hashboards to find which one is damaged that leads to other hashboard running abnormally. Follow this guide from here "Test hash board one by one"

If you found which one is damaged replace new hashboard if not possible the PSU or control board are damaged so replace them.

Other problem and solution listed here "Antminer Problems and Solutions"

Test them one by one first, then try swapping data cables and power cables to make sure the two boards have problems.

If you want to clean them, there here is a trick: Get a bucket fill it with water and some dish washing soap, submerge the boards for some hours, then use a brush and water to clean them carefully, dry them using the output of another miner or hair dryer, let them dry a day or two, test again.

I'm not even kidding.

Your left and right boards are damaged and showing 0 chips each. This could be due to PSU issues, voltage regulator issues on the board, the connections between the chips, etc.

Although it's probably some permanent damage from heat or corrosion, you could still try cleaning those boards thoroughly and testing with different PSU / ribbon cables just to be sure.

Hello,

I cannot see 2x hash boards on the web, is it mean both are broke? If it is true, are have a way to fix it by self or some service in the EU to fix it?

~snip~

2 of your hashboard not detected did you check if the hashboard 18pin cable is connected properly try to reattach them including the power cable then test it again.

Can you post the kernel logs here as a code # button? you can find them under system>Kernel logs.

Kernel logs can help us to find the issue.

Look at this article below for the list of repair service globally.
