Can you post the whole kernel logs here? Use the insert code tag to make your post clean. If you have a limitation posting the whole kernel logs here you can use this pastebin.com and paste the URL here.

Have you tried to flash the miner? If not, try to flash it first you can download the firmware from the link below
- https://service.bitmain.com/support/download?product=Antminer%20S9j

If it still shows the same would you mind trying to flash it with an SD card? Follow the guide here and then flash it again through the web browser and make sure to download 2018 firmware first from the download link above to test if it will work fine if not upgrade it to the latest one.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anybody could offer me some advice please.

One of my ant miner s9j is running intermittently, chain 6 is running at only 15 degrees and chain 7 and 8 are running at 50-60 (normal). Now and then chain 6 will jump to say 125 degrees and the unit will stop mining.

Things I’ve tried:-
Changing both fans
Checked all connections
Tried another psu
Removed hash boards to check for loose or damaged heat sinks
Changing the worker mode

I’m at a loss as to what to try next. I’ve googled this issue for a few hours now and I’m unable to find a solution.

Any advice or ideas would be much apricated.

Thank you
