My AntMiner U2 still will not work either. I try to use "M" + "+" and then typing either amu:all, all, or auto, it still does not detect my device.

I dont think he was aware of that, so I just assumed he was mining bitcoin directly.  Roll Eyes

I don't think he did enough research before buying the Antminer.
It seems he have no idea about cgminer, even after buying the antminer...

OK thanks
but its only for Bitcoins and I want mine Dogecoins

Antminer is an ASIC built for sha256 hashing. So, you can't use it to mine scrypt coins (such as litecoin, dogecoin, etc.)

You need to select a pool, and bitminter is for macs.

Edit: Never mind, you need cgminer.

Hi

I have now bought the Antminer U2 and download CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP driver from Silicon Labs and Asteroid 0.9.7 and other miners but I can't mine Sad
My problem is that my Mac does not recognize the Antminer U2 or is this normal ?
How can I install it and what are the next steps ?
I hope someone can help me Smiley
