Just use your old wallet and private key. It's safe and works just fine. Only have to download Neo wallet from NEO github.

I personally prefer Litecoin because of its stability and it's actual View of where it wants to go as a project and a company. I believe Litecoin will be very successful in the long run and is a very good long-term investment however and if I want quick returns in periods of time then my choice is Neo.

Yes maybe we are down today, but let's look at NEO for future, cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and others will not have a long future, as soon as Quantum Computing is released all cryptos will have excess quantities of coins that will cause a huge price drop.

Prices will always go up and down, we always have those short sellers! something went up 90% in 2 days sure it will drop 20% in a day. do not panic, otherwise go do Bonds or Bank saving account.

Which Horror Stories do you mean?
Just have attention if you withdraw from Exchange ( for Example Bittrex they take 0.1 Neo Fee at a Withdraw )
If you want to witdraw 10 neo you must withdraw 10.1 so you get 10 Neo on your Wallet.
If you withdraw 10.5 you also just got 10 so you loose 0.4 Neo.

I bought much Neo ( some before the run some at 38 $ ) and 50 % off my Crypto Money is in Neo, i hope for 100 $ or more what you guys are thinkin is possible in August ? We will continue the race or get a correction?

And yes, they picked the name for its reference to the Matrix and because it means “new, young” in Greek.

Finally a real and serious competition for ETH, now when I think about: lets mine some NEO but I couldn't find anything about how to mine it, nothing at all.
I also noticed that when we can't mine it then where is the computational power to run smart contracts and VMs come from? I need to know about mining this, what makes the network keep going if there are no miners please answer me, there were too many pages of same old sh*t ETH and others already said before.

I just put everything I have about $500 into NEO and $100 in Distr0x. Doesn't sound like much, however, I just got started trading like a couple weeks ago and started with just $75 from mining nicehash. I had put that into Elastic and sold high. I really hope NEO keeps moving, I have been watching it since it was at $5 and I don't want to make that mistake again. It does go against a large part of me, that is content to stay with newer smaller cryptos on the rise. For what it's worth from an inexperienced trader, I think NEO's rise has just begun. We are soon to be heading into rush hour and I believe we are on an uphill trend. Good luck all...

In Response to wasif11, I believe the difference is that NEO will get there much faster, but there is less risk involved with holding bitcoin. If you put the same time constraints on NEO, giving it till the end of the year... I believe the gains would be much higher than 150%. Of course this is crypto and everything is happening at a much faster rate than anyone could fathom just 30 days ago. First it was 5k by the end of the year, now 10k... This more attention, the more investors, the faster the rocket ship goes.

If we take a look at how fast ETH has gone up, NEO might be worth 900$ one day. Bitcoin indeed is speculated to reach 100K, but I doubt that, as I believe 50K is the highest it can go (marketcap of 825 billion).

This range is the cheapest you will ever see Antshares again. I also own ETH and believe in it, but Anstshares will mop the floor with it in the coming months.

There is certainly room for more than one hugely successful application platform at the top. Neo might fill that spot. Then again it might not. So, it's gamble but I kind of like the odds.

Try github repo. They used to have dedicated download page with their official desktop client as well as web wallet on their website, but it is down for same reason (maybe as part of rebranding process?). Links to offical github repo can be found on their website.

I hope your right as i recently sold my eth and moved to ans but if you think eth and the EEA Dont have corporate monsters behind them your very wrong. Intel, jp morgan, santander, microsoft, BP, credit suisse the list goes on. Id like to think ans will do very well though particularly in china and im holding longterm

Microsoft is behind Antshares. Onchain is the company which develops Antshares and they are developing for Alibaba too.

I agree and from what Da Fonghei is saying, the brand change is only happening in quarter 3 of 2017.

I think the name change was announced earlier then planned as all their company email addresses are still @antshares.com and even the Antshares twitter account has more recent posts than the Neo account.

Coinmarketcap also lists the website as Antshares.org when it should now be Neo.org

As far as we are all concerned it is still Antshares until the official change over happens.

Why would they rebrand now when everything started moving,i could not find any official release in the blog site but it is out there through their twitter handle about the rebrand to NEO. Why are they not releasing an official statement in their official website regarding the change as they only mention about antshares brand strategy release conference in their time line .Hope they could give more clarity regarding this brand change.

I have been watching this coin. I believe it hit $10 last week and is around $5-6 right now, it could be a good time to buy with this new rebranding and I do believe the tech is very good too from what I have read.

They have also formed some very solid partnerships, including Alibaba I believe, Bancor - just to name a couple.

So one of the first things brought up at the conference was the rebranding of Antshares to NEO. (Not to be confused with NEOS). It will still trade on the exchanges as ANS.

The technology they described was pretty amazing and actually looked like it was going to blow Ethereum out of the water with their Virtual Machine running on something called dockers resulting in lightning speed transactions.

The other thing to come out of it was their coding school to develop ICO's. They gave a brief demo and it looked like a high school student could use it, pretty much drag and drop and place things on top of each other until you have built whatever it is u are trying to achieve.

It seems like a bit of a panic sell going on with the name change but once the dust settles this could be a gamechanger in all seriousness.

Buy now in the dip while u have a second chance !!
