I remember the first time we hit $1000, there were some parties where bitcoin holders meet and had some drinks.

This time we are stronger and more robust, $1000 will be crossed with confidence.

Any places to celebrate annnounced yet?
I am waiting for it to happen again and I think that it is possible for it to happen just before the halving don't you think so as well?
If it does not happen then maybe I am going to sell for the first and best price at that moment.

Who care about the foreign green apple money? The apple is red, gliding to 10,000 target

Who cares about the party either?
All of us bitcoiners are going to party if it crosses 1000 no matter who does what as such things will not affect the value. Wink
Let us schedule something on this.

Scrubs... bitcoin is already 80,000 yen in Japan, 2.5k reals in Brazil and millions of Zimbabwe money (whatever they're called). They passed 1000 years ago xD.

Jokes aside, congrats everybody for (nearly) hitting $1000, depending on your currency. It's kinda mind blowing, the fact that bitcoin tripled its price in 9 months...

there aren't so many people who know about bitcoin in my country but i have some plans with my friends to sell a portion of 1 BTC when the price went up to $1000 and then celebrate with that money together.

we would have preferred to pay with bitcoin for the celebration directly but sadly that is not an option yet!

What kind of celebration would take $1000? I guess im broke, I would not spend 1k on celebrating, that's too much BTC to spend in one day.

if you pay attention to what i wrote you will see that i said a portion of 1 BTC and portion means a part of a whole like 1/2, 1/5, 1/10 and so on. so it is really not that big that you think. Smiley

I seem to remember the original and biggest party would only be thrown if it stayed over a thousand for a month. I've no idea why they denied themselves some fun with such a monstrous requirement but they might waiting for a while with that one.

Most local bitcoin meetup groups will probably hold some sort of party so check them out.
We have already reached $1000+ a coin here in Australia and it's Friday night so i will have a drink or 2 to celebrate  Smiley
I also live in Australia and my friends and I went out to celebrate on Thursday. I just hope that it continues to rise and we can say that the price is $1500 AUD. Smiley

Party at $1k, fine. But I pity those who sell at $1k. Use your money and place a fucking buy wall at $1k.

My thread is about celebrating that Bitcoin goes beyond 1000 dollars, not about selling 1000 dollars worth of Bitcoin. Im not selling shit.

Yes, I saw in Reddit that AUS was already $1000+ per coin. Now it's USA and EUR turn, this will take a bit more but at this rate we are only weeks away.
