I personally believe that we are going to end up with getting something nice done, it will be something I will enjoy for a while. I get that it's not going to be easy, but we could probably look at it as something that can be beneficial.

I see this topic as a place to basically learn more about tokens, and not saying I will check them out all, or invest, but I think I will see a few of them and see if they are good or not. Some suggestions here could be gone, likely answer is that most of them won't be, but at least a few could be good and that's what matters to me, and that is what I am going to do for a long time.

If it's just airdrops like JUP and WEN you can find lots of them in telegram groups, but the airdrop that has the potential to offer rewards as big as UNISWAP is probably only zksync. But unfortunately zksync has no signs of listing in the near future and it looks like the airdrop hasn't been confirmed either. In 2024 I view all airdrops as the same (meaning there is no airdrop that is most anticipated) because I participate in all airdrops and hope to get incentives.

There are only three that I expect to have potential airdrops; one of them is Berachain, Grass, and Silence, which can be downloaded from the Play Store. Then, I don't know anything else that has potential airdrops.

Until now, the free testnet of Berachain is still not finished, which is actually still existing right now, along with the grass that is still existing, which is also free so far.
But if there are still available I take the chance of course.

This is a problem now, there are more Airdrops than actual users, most of these people are farming these tokens to move to the next one, the Airdrop game is becoming a crowded one and we are seeing from the recent performnce of new tokens listing on the market their prices dumped immediately because those that are supposed to be the potential buyers have gotten these tokens free of charge. I'm only waiting for few ones to perform well

I don't have any specific airdrops to expect this year but I bought at the Founder window of pre-order for the Solana 2 mobile and so far, I'm happy with all of the airdrops that I get from it although there's probably more to come, I don't know which one to look out for so I'm looking out only that a new airdrop would be given to me. I don't do much airdrop chasing anymore, I'm too busy at work that it's really difficult to keep with the airdrops to look out for, I'd rather that I don't do airdrops haplessly because I don't want to risk the contents of my wallet being stolen because I try and balance my schedule to fit it in when most of the time, the airdrops that I get doesn't really have that much reward in them and when I sell them, it's not that huge of an amount anyway.

it is for increasing the user counts of the platform like you said.
if we talks about loyaty, hardly I find anyone that care about airdrop will be loyal to the platform, they always find opportunities everywhere there is an opportunity and will not stick with just one platform like bit get since there are other several exchanges that provides exactly the same program, like bybit where if you trade new coin that just recently got listed and you probably among the first few thousand user to make a trade you get rewarded with the respective coin.
but yeah its good now that its the trend for exchange to give something back to their users, unlike back then where its all about charging fee from users.
I see this as a winning situation for most of customers.
even for the ones that don't have enough capital they can get quite the money just following super simple task.

Certainly, I have also invested time and money in Linea, Zksync and Blast, and my outlook for each project is promising. Specially Blast is likely to announce its token generation event (TGE) before the end of of May-2024 and decent reward is expected from Blast as well as from its protocols.. Linea's points system appears very transparent and equitable based on completion of tasks. However, airdrop of Linea is expected in third quarter of this year while Zksync could announce its token soon, possibly within this month. DYOR

Guys, most of the airdrops that I am seeing rewarding are in the solana network. While it's okay because fee there isn't that much and TPS has improved. But is it possible that most of them will still be rewarding? Who doesn't love to get an award, everyone loves to get an award. I came in 2024 and worked on some airdrop campaigns. I have never worked on an airdrop campaign before but have been joining quite a few airdrop campaigns lately. I worked on an airdrop event on Bybit exchange a few days ago and got 40 mabia tokens worth $220. Since then I have been joining some airdrop campaigns. However, I don't know if I will get any kind of reward in the coming days, but I am sure that I will get a big payment from one of the campaigns.

just follow the airdrop that are coming from a project that get invested heavily by reputable investors otherwise you're just gonna be wasting time here.
most of the airdrop that are being sponsored by tier 1 investors always keep their promises but here's one thing that might confuse a lot of people these project rarely announce their TGE at the early days.
they always keep the TGE date secret from people so to avoid people that uses the project just for the sake of farming and sybils and therefore they would answer that they don't have plan of TGE when they actually have.
thats the thing with most of the airdrop.
if you are talking about airdrop that requires you minimum effort then its not worth talking about even those project at galxe are just using galxe for the sake of getting free exposure rarely people that just trying to do twitter marketing getting the thing they deserved these days since we all know that twitter marketing nowaday just full of bots never generating organic traffic for the project.

There is no way I can be anticipating for airdrops when these season enough airdrop has been launched and they are all scam. I personally don't believe in airdrops right from the start, even before I became serious in learning about crypto, I have come across so many airdrop that I just tag them all to be scam due to experience from others, and Info I got online. So I just decided to assume I am wrong for a sec and tried out one airdrop, unfortunately the result I got shows that my believe has been correct all these while, because the airdrop later turned out to be scam after reviewing the airdrop online and watching reel of users who had one on participating live. However after those telegram referrals, and depositing your coin on meta mask/ trust wallet they'll request for gas fee to withdraw your airdropped coins and if you fall for it m, your money is gone for good.

So at the end, we have 95% airdrops that are scam while the remaining ones are genuine. If you must use an airdrop ensure you don't send money for any purpose, because you cannot be paying money to someone who wants to gift you money.

Hunting for Airdrop rewards is no longer as simple as in previous cycles. There are only a few outstanding projects that have distributed generous airdrops to the community in 2023 such as ARB, Aptos.. or recently Jup, but not many people receive it like before because we have to really skin in the game. I think it makes more sense to use the term "Retroactive" instead of "Airdrop".
In the near future, some great projects that may have rewards for users include Zksync, LayerZero, Starknet, SColl, EigenLayer... Personally, I cannot participate in all of the above projects. Only focus on 1 or 2 certain projects like Zksync and EigenLayer because through many Airdrop and Retroactive events, I find it more effective to be a regular user with a large transaction volume than to do a little of each project. It will take time and sometimes we are not even on their list.

Still searching but not on the focus of looking it after having a bad experience with them. After the 2017 bull run, I haven't seen airdrops are valuable, most of them are scams. I tried some last 2018 - 2020 but sadly got nothing valuable and it only stuck in my wallet. A reason why I don't think we need to spend time doing this is we only got nothing, we are just wasting our time in the end. But if you did nothing in your life, definitely a lot of airdrops to join - meme and AI projects seem hot these days, and there are a lot of free coins to give.

Yes - not everything planned will come true, but at least these people can see some potential in the upcoming airdrop. Most crypto exchange have used the service of airdrop hunters to onboard new users via simple task like referral programs. Bitget has one ongoing with 100 usdt reward via joining their telegram mini app and completing the task to get rewarded.

Venom Network was one I was really watching, now they are moving from ADGM to a Caymen Foundation (I am guessing it is due to token deployment reasons?)

Berachain, right now there are only 5 main projects, one of the metrics that I was hinted at was to have over 100 transactions onchain

Mode is the other big one.

SavvyDeFi is one that I have been doing a lot on as I heard they are also looking at deploying their arbitrum protocol onto berachain

Actually, I am not participating in any airdrop because it is only a waste of time and the money you will get is very small. Instead of joining airdrop on new projects i'd rather join the airdrop of a platform that already exists for quite some time just like uniswap where I received almost $2k worth of unitoken. Even when you are investing is a lot of trouble because you have to be updated with the news and events if there are news or events going to happen right now or in the near future like the upcoming Halving of Bitcoin.

Damn nice! i'll be checking them out, thanks for all of these man, you're making us a huge amount of money (if airdropped xD)! Although I already kind of used SCROLL, had to get goerli eth and swap, bridge, add LP etc in test net, but I see no sign of airdrop yet. even tho, they announced main net too. And if they are pre-annouced, they will be immediately be botted and diluted in value. Every good airdrop i have got, have been given me without any pre-announcement so that people didn't have possibility to game them and try to cash out. In fact airdrops weren't really a thing before people were making millions from them.

Afterwards it seemed that it was pretty good way to get community behind the project. Because who would advertise better then people who got skin in the game.

What I'm looking forward to this year is mode.network, rarichain, Puffer.fi and many more but I have to be honest because they spend more capital to increase activities in their ecosystem so with $100 it's not enough even bigger more points.

The projects I mentioned have confirmed that they will distribute tokens to their community, actually there are not only 3 or 5 projects in progress but if you can do it then all can be worked on, but honestly it is a little difficult for me financially.

There are at least a few projects to focus on, and continue to increase activity there so that points continue to grow because the more points the greater the chance of getting tokens.

For you to receive airdrops these days, you need to perform tasks, interact with a project's ecosystem, and perhaps stake using a decentralized exchange, etc. Stakers of TIA, COS, and ATOM can explain this better. However, if you lack liquidity, you can register on CoinGecko and collect candies, hopefully worth more in the future. Another option is on Bitget, via Telegram. Similar to CoinGecko candies, you perform simple tasks to earn points, which can be converted to USDT.

Yep that's right, I also feel that now it's very difficult to get airdrops like back in the day where many of them really gave gifts in an easy way, but now I'm tired of their ways that don't match what we do.

Before now, I no believe in airdrop, but since uniswap token do give away with a simple criteria for eligible of getting rewards by using the platform to trade from a particular period of time and they are rewarded, which my friend was among the beneficial of UNI Coin. And since then I believe in airdrop, while making more research about good airdrop one need to participate, please share link that is not involved wallet connection.
