Nothing is profitable to mine with GPU if you want to ROI within a year, taking into account of electricity price of more than $0.15/kWh.

pull the plug, or just mine only at launch

otherwise you can sell your gpu and buy some 970 nvidia, which are much better than your 7950

Hi,

I have a small regular home mining setup and I'm looking to mine
profitably or at least break even.

I have 3 x 7970 and 3 x 7950 and they use 1150w X11 or upto
2000w with scrypt-n

I've mined vertcoin, darkcoin, and monero through out the year but it's
rarely been a profitable venture to mine these coins.

Any idea or suggestions? I'm considering pulling the plug.

Thanks.

Sell the GPU and buy those alt-coin. You will get back much more then if you mine them..

Might look into pulling plug.  I know i was running around 8500 watt + of GPUs and i just could not justify it with electricity cost, and heat exhust.

Asica are just so much more efficient sadly for most gpu days are over.  You might think about selling and getting a asic or selling and buying BTC and hold with it being such a low price.
