I think TAAS might pump bigger than the present value. Already it used to move forward reaching value above $10. Bow it was quite below the $10 mark. Investing into it could benefit big on long term, because going through the price chart we can find its growth happening in a gradual manner.

I think BANKEX and ATMT will grow up.

Price does not really matter. You should take care of the market cap.

Market cap is price x supply and it is a much better indicator to find out if a coin is undervalued oder overhyped.

PRL is your best bet, followed by ELIX and XSPEC. They will all do at least 10x before Q3.

Waves is still under $10 and I am saying the people to buy this coin for a long while. I guess I am telling this to the people since $1 or lower so get your coins and hold them for a long time, you will not regret it!

Many people sharing that deeponion will increase in future but this coin does not grows in the market place. I don't seen this coin in the top 20 list of altcoins too. I advice change your from deeponion to xrp or cardano. These coins really shows the big bump from the time it came inside the marketplace.

Oh no why did you have to post this. And why did I have to read this? I was feeling the itch for weeks, kept reading the hype about Spectrecoin, and even wondering why some "personalities" are talking it up. I admit I felt a bit jealous not to buy it when I saw the price rise. I like Monero 100% and that will always be my utility coin, from the perspective of anonymous crypto. But I really want to be part of a hype coin at the beginning and make money on the side. Yes,,, yes, I know, I should keep to my principles of investing and stick to my researched coins. But is it wrong to wish a little? I fear I will gamble on Spectrecoin before 2018 arrives.

2018 will be the year for privacy coins, since crypto will likely be regulated (in some way).

One of the more serious privacy coins out here is XSPEC. Impeccable tech, very good team and community and a market cap with a lot of room for growth. XSPEC is truly privacy focused coin, which has TOR with OSBF4 integrated natively.
There are a lot of pump and dump coins out there with very little to offer, but XSPEC on the other hand is a coin with real value and purpose. Buy some and you will thank me later .

The price of waves coin is less than $20 so I think this is good choice. This coin is a potential coin and for sure the price will become hundreds dollars in the next few months and this coin is look like ethereum the price is very cheap when it's started and after few years it will increase and that what I believe in waves coin will happen in the future. I think XSPEC has tremendous potential for the long term. I think the whole point of cryptocurrency lies in privacy and decentralization and XSPEC has some of the most private features. There are alternate coins in that range and are very potential to multiply its market price from 10 to 100 times. Consider Ripple, IOTA, NEM, Waves, Stratis, and KOMODO. That's below 1$ to 20$ of market price but have huge amount of market capital.

I think there is a lot of potential from a lot of coins but I personally would direct my attention towards privacy coins.  I'm wary of McAfee but he and I hold this in common and I'd trust an alleged criminal to know what they were talking about when securing funds. .  But seriously with the increasing regulations I have a feeling that it's only a matter of time before the powers that be attempt to criminalize ownership of cryptos the way they did with Gold back in the...30s I think it was... at which point anonymity will be of the utmost importance.

I can't read code, but when I have directed people who can to the code before investing they told me it was solid.  So I am relying on a secondary party that I trust... but I can't speak to it myself.
The Spectreproject team has two full time devs that were funded directly by the community.  They are both cryptographers and have 15 years between them.  If you chat with the dev JBH in slack he's been REALLY responsive lately.  If he had a Power point presentation to go with some of the things he tells people I fell like I'd have a much better understanding of code and privacy in general.  He is the best person to engage.
The hotfix for node problems is due to be released (with some other fixes) by the end of this month.  and the 1.4 wallet has been "conservatively" estimated to be done by the end of January. 
With more members of the community becoming active in the participation of the coin it should get more attention and maybe even some new people willing to code.  But the current devs are comfortable with one another and probably won't let just ANYONE jump on with them. 

I don't know much about Deep Onion.  It seems that the devs have control of a lot of the coins and there is a lot of pump with a little bit of commit.  With all the free airdrops enticing people it's garnered a pretty big following.  We all have to be careful with all of these.  It sucks but there are always people who want to take advantage of a method of making money for nothing.

Minimum number of commits and active developers. Good sign is that there were commits from recent days, but I'd be more reassured if more active devs are participating. Sure they have potential to 10x, but they could also easily die off if the active devs stop working on them... and they seem to be part time jobs for the devs.

Any altcoin without active code contributions will probably die. Be very suspicious of ICOs without Githubs.

Honestly, I have most of my portfolio in Bitcoin - about 55%, The 10% are ICOs - Crypterium and Signals and 33% are in OmiseGo, Shift, Siacoin, Stratis and BAT. The are all unique in some way, that is why i choose them and I am going to hold them  (except BAT) for at least an year.

Correct I do not know why people concentrate that much in the price when that is not the most important aspect, we need to look at the market cap, also not every coin that is cheap is going to be valuable in the future, we know that most coins are not going to be successful in the long term so we need to be very careful and to make sure to choose the right coin or face the consequences.

Just dont rush things out its a less risk investment and the key is to have more patience and hold it. There are also new coins that has a potential to pump, but its too risky to buy in you might end lossing your money. Its better be safe than sorry. Good choices of coin will be found is the top 20 in coin market cap.

Looking at the price of the coin is a mistake the most important number is the market cap, now there are very few projects that have any chance to reach that kind of value so if I were you I will be looking for projects with a market cap of ten millions or less, if you choose the right coin you can easily make 10x and if you really hit a home run you could get 100x when the coin reaches 1 billion in market cap.

Deeponion has the price low enough for a large whale to pump the coin though I am pretty sure that the price won't hold when it gets there.

I might be wrong on this but still I have not seen any airdrop which has actually being in the news due to the good sustainable price it has being on the exchanges for a long time. This coin may be a change to that but still understand and do the research before investing in it.

BlockCAT (CAT) is a low key coin that already has a working product and still has a low market cap.  The coins are selling at $2-3 right now, with only 7.2 million coins in circulation.  Its only on etherdelta currently but should do well once it hits major exchanges.

Platform projects for decentralized blockchain applications have a chance to rise like ethereum. Projects like Lisk, stratis, waves can rise like ethereum but they are still new in the market

Very true, but not all altcoin will be like that. According to some experience I have altcoin alot under $ 10 to experience a crazy pump. But it takes patience to wait for the pump. Keep calm and watch.

Many coins that are less than $10 and has a good potential I think among them are lisk, strats, neo, wave and xem. Though the foregoing altcoins has potential to go as high as $1000 before end of 2018, therefore getting to $10 will be a work over in a nearby future.

There are plenty very well solid altcoins are currently at low price. Patience holds much needed to invest on that altcoin. As already mentioned, altcoin that's now quite expensive is the altcoin that used to have a very quiet price, until the big waves make them soar like now, for example ETH or NEO an altcoin attracts many investors.

You must remember some of my choice about the potential coin for the future, binance, omisego, lisk , iconomi  all of them will be going to the moons just like ethereum and other coin. But there are so many coin that already had the same potentially to growth more than $10 each in the future.

There are only two coins that are less than 10$ and will be huge in a year. Waves and OMG...but I trust Waves more. Waves will be close to  ETH price and will be his biggest rival.

like bitcoin? no way nothing has so far had any kind of rise like bitcoin. because for the most part most of them have no usefulness in real world so they are treated as toys for traders.

like ethereum? not possible so far either. because ether guys are good at pumping it and advertising it. they have lots of funds for it too. and they also have deep pockets. nothing can come close to it.

like bitcoin cash? it hasn't been around enough and has not yet really had any decent rise so we can talk about it. it just had a big pump because of its difficulty and that is it.

and to answer your question, most coins that have been around for a while and are still below that price will never go up at all. there is a reason why they are that low!
but new coins may have a chance of bigger pumps. which one? it is hard to say, most of them certainly have the potential anyways.

There are many altcoins that is less than $50 that has really potential. Try to research by yourself. You are the one who will buy a coin. But before you buy make sure that you study it carefully. 

I think Mysterium is a very good project. This will be the 1st decentralized VPN built using blockchain technology; there's a huge need of this!

Founder Robertas Visinskis is a really serious and dedicated developer and I'm sure this project has a huge potential. Also, MYST coin is quite underpriced at the moment (about 1.5$). A good coin to invest in. But that's only my opinion...

                     I think Tezos and Bancor can do better in the next few years, I have been positive all this time and really hope it would come true, and as what you have said that backed up with those huge personalities in crypto world I think it really has the potential to grow in the future and could make a huge impact in crypto world.

Just choose on top 10 at the coinmarketcap. Some of them still under value but it could be a bomb in the future. Right now, i bought some Miotas hoping for it to go higher because it's a good project. Anyway, there are some good ICOs out there which is more cheaper that could easily go to the moon. Tezos for example. I think the ICO were successful. Also backed up by huge personalities in cryptoland. Bancor also is a good. But remember put only small percent of your portfolio.
