Not yet at the moment! It is a good idea! IMO it needs extensive test before implementing in real to avoid unexpected issues!
maybe you should ask this on the altcoin section. it surely will get more attention there.

I am wondering if there is any alt-coin with 8mb block-size limit that we can run tests on ,
to get some ideas about what we are running to if we increase the block-size limit.
