It is funny that we want to divide ourselves based on states even when it comes to bitcoin, seems ironic that bitcoin was created for all! As it is people in India are so divided and disassociated from each other based on states, north-south etc.,. Bitcoin should be a uniting factor and not a dividing factor. Just saying!  Smiley

He does not wanted to dived ourselves based on states and langues or something else. Instead, he just wanted to know tamil speaking bitcoin users. And also this forum too contains some boards which is based on countries, so this forum too dived peoples by means of countries?
Just saying! Smiley

I am sorry if you took this in the wrong way, but in India there is so much of a divide in every state. If it is a different country, this divide is understandable but how can this divide be allowed in a country like ours? Sure, there are different cultures and all of that, but this does not mean we start looking for only our state mates around here. Do you think me, being in Bangalore cannot answer your questions about bitcoin? Do i need to know tamil to answer it? What's next? High caste - low caste bitcoins? Cheesy

It's not about caste or states. I was just curious to know how many people in Tamilnadu are aware of/using Bitcoins. I can't run around the state looking for Bitcoin users, can I?

And I can trade with confidence if the other person is from the same state as I am, since trading BTC is something that's got to be taken seriously. Don't get me wrong; I'm open to trading with anyone (not that I have a lot of BTC right now Smiley ) who I am comfortable with, but this gives me a good start.

Localbitcoins would be a good start? You can filter by location and find out who are the traders in your location. Sorry if i misunderstood, just that i have been exposed to a lot of BS when it comes to Indians always being divided based on states and the like. There is particular aversion to other state people, especially more pronounced in TN, so that could have been the source of my comment. Great to know you are looking to trade. Use the marketplace board on bitcointalk to trade, you will get better deals than localbitcoins imo. Good luck!

Just saying - It is easier to organize a meet up in Tamil Nadu, if you know the users from Tamil Nadu.  Smiley

Hello,

I am a Bitcoin enthusiast from the city of Coimbatore, although my native is Tirunelveli. I've known about bitcoins for 3 years, still haven't had the chance of getting some decent amount of coins. I would like to hear from fellow Tamil Bitcoin users. Smiley

Tamizhandaa!!

Depends on your definition of decent. Wink
You may find more tamil people here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/any-tamil-speakers-here-528990

Looks like there are quite a few Tamil people here. I think I would call decent as holding more than at least 0.5 -1 Bitcoin Smiley
