I'm glad you received the package....It's pretty fast too.  No need to pay until you have verified the authenticity of the bills.  I want to make sure you are happy. when you let an expert look at them and you are happy then you can make the payment to me.

Did you get the extra coins?  2 Of them are silver so don't spend them!! the third is just a canadian $1 Dollar coin!

We're going to need a bigger heatsink.
So I just receive the package.

The 10$ worth nothing since he is cut in half.  Embarrassed

But the 2 x 20$ could worth something pretty good since they are really clean.

There is 2 or 3 2$ that are also pretty in good shape.

I will go see a expert tomorrow and will let you know!  Grin

Good news!

Your $10 bill is still worth $10, even if it is ripped! You can exchange it at the bank for the newer bills.

Damn, sorry I missed this.

For those of you just tuning in, all those bills are SUPREMELY old, and are quite the relic of my youth. Would've been interested in the ones and twos -- haven't seen either of those in almost 20 years.
They are old indeed. Some are from the 1950's  I have other foreign currency also. Quite unique pieces if interested.

Wow.. I haven't seen that era of bills for awhile, printing of the $1 bill stopped in 1989. Definitely a good buy valkir - even without collector's value, you would have paid ~ $53 CAD for $96 CAD. Wink

You should be able to exchange it at some type of bank.  These bills are a few editions old (they were deemed too easy to counterfeit).
He is taking 0% Risk since i'm shipping first.  If you read my above post i explain the whole bank situation.

The lady that sold these to me was in her high 60's early 70's  She doesn't seem to be the counterfeit type.  Cheesy

Do you have a bank or credit union account? If they exchange foreign currency upon deposit (especially our neighboring country), their customers'/members' conversion fee should be much less than the $56 you'd be losing here. Mine used to be $10 or less before they discontinued the service. Even a currency exchange should incur less of a fee than $56.

If nowhere else, ask around at Harriman-West Airport (~3 miles away), someone might exchange for you there.

Unfortunately even if I could easily go somewhere with them and say "can you counterfeit check these and if they're real, convert them?", I only have 1 ozt silver bar left and IDK how much silver weight in my silverware.

I use Tdbank which won't accept foreign currency the only  Bank around here that does Foreign Exchange is Bank of America....One located in Albany N.Y. the other Greenfield and you have to be a customer.

Harriman airport is just down the road from me but it's not what you think....It's a tiny airport more for small prop planes,Helicopters etc.

I thought charter flights (or drug traffickers flying under radar LOL) might go from there to Canada. Combined with this, sounds like you need to move, or take a road trip to meet a BofA customer to do it for you.
