i have not heard about site here before and there is also no introduction of the team member here. So I would not recommend it to any of my friends because there are many such sites just setup and will run away in coming months and their service will also be not on mark. But if any of the member here have used it and would like to share their experience then it will be good.

You can buy from Koinex for a very reasonable rate. I purchased a couple of days ago and it’s was very fast. But it’s not a easy interface to use.

I would suggest you not to buy eth directly instead go for btc and then.exchange it on any major excahange and keep it in myetherwallet. You might have to pay some transaction fees but you will be free from getting your KYC done. Every exchange supporting fiat transaction requires KYC 
If you are not satisfied with any exchanges you can buy Bitcoin using them and use Changelly (https://changelly.com/?ref_id=2b662e2d2681) to convert it to ETH or any other crypto at a nominal fees.
u can also try https://koinex.in/ .or simply buy bitcoin on Zebpay, create Myetherwallet > goto swap option, and convert your bitcoin to ethreum .
Why do you necessarily have to buy from India ? You can use your credit card and buy off sites like cex.io ( 3.5% markup on currency conversion will be charged by your credit card company if you are having one issued in India )
cex.io has an insane delta between selling and buying prices and very large fees, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

In my opinion it will good if you buy btc then convert it to ethereum.as far i know there are some eth exchange in india but i do not trust them.if you want an easy job then use shapeshift for exchange.

Bro. Thank You providing your experience on ethexindia. I have planed to purchase ethereum but still confused as i got a bad review on quora, 'ethexindia processing very late for ethereum transaction'. As you experienced with it, then i think i have to try for it with a small amount first.
I have used etherx many times to buy ether directly from there....they had a nice phone support as well which understands hindi also
ethexindia is one of the option which is reputed and being existed from some time now. Though I think recently there are couple of more exchanges which have come up and provide ETH but not sure about their service and reputations. Also you can ask on this thread only if any one is buying/selling eth and trade here only.
Yes there is one exchange Etherex India where you can buy eth in India but I have heard that they have suspended their services for sometime. You have other options like buying bitcoin and getting them exchange from bitfinex, bittrex or any major exchange.
