People says that the bearish market is over but still some feels that it's a bull trap there will be one more dump before halving, some of them even believes that the bull run has already started. I know the market is unpredictable and nothing can be taken into consideration when it comes to predictions but kindly vouch your opinions about current market.
This is why many people there have considered that just people who dare to take any risk they will a high reward for their money. Like you when the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the early of this year, if you took a high risk why then you have got a lot of profit now, but it otherwise when you decide to wait the trend that will happen. In other hand the money that you choose to invest in cryptocurrency will affect your income, like when you use money that you can afford to lose then you will have many chances to get profir that you wanted but when you use money that you should get profit when you use it then you will not calm anytime. Your profit will be depend on your emotion and your fear.

My take is you do not listen to them. They can have an interior motive why they are telling these.  And besides, everything they have is all speculation and as good as your own speculation.

I suggest doing your own homework. Do your own TA and research and act to it accordingly. It does not matter if it is bull or bear trend. Enter the market when your TA suggests it and exit when you have enough profit.
Is there any where to further do more research on the market trend of Bitcoin than here? I don't think so because most of the expert Bitcoin traders are here and I believe there is always element of Truth in most of the public analysis here in this forum. If you advise one to only take profit only when the person has made enough profit to me is not a good advise because the person may end up holding up to hear her position for a long time of which such person may end up not making reasonable profit at the end.
I don't believe with 'Bitcoin expert' thing given that the market is impossible to be predicted with certain because it is naturally volatile, meaning, the market price do tend to always change.  There are people who are giving speculations that the market will be high at a particular period, and there are times that such thing exactly occured but I would look at those instances as coincidence, because not all the time, the expectations of some personalities are being met.
I'm on the side, which is where the bearish market has ended. I saw the chart before. which is the same movement as 2015-2016. and whether accidental or not, that time of crypto has a high increase. gold has reached it first. actually this is not my reference. but only my prediction.
History may repeat again this year, who knows. The moment bitcoin reach the $9k level again, for me the bearish trend was gone already and we are preparing for the pump for this year and bitcoin will make it. There are so many big predictions OP, you can read all of them and you can see how positive they are for bitcoin, that can boost your confidence with bitcoin and in the crypto market, the bull should come.
There's still this thing they like to call halving or the period where the market price of Bitcoin would fall in a sudden and for the majority that is where real bullrun would occur.Bearish trend do come in the market unexpectedly and I doubt that it would start when it again reach the point of $9,000, it might be higher value.

everyone has their own forecast about the price of bitcoin in the future. and in my opinion the current rise of bitcoin is a sign that most likely this year we will enter the bull market. if until March the bitcoin continues to increase and reach a price of $ 11k then I'm sure 2020 is the year for the bull market.

Here is my take on Bitcoins price for the long term, and keep in mind I am not a financial adviser this is just my overall view.

Currently I don't believe we are in a bull market, yet. I am hoping that the $9500 area will clear and we will manage to close above $10K and stay above that number for a few weeks and then I would say we are in a bull market. And given the halvening we might retest the $13800 high once again this year.

However right now I would say we are in neutral territory since every dip is getting bought up and break-downs are minimal. However keep in mind that we need to close higher on the weekly charts.

Many cryptocurrency users express their opinion on a stable bearish trend in the cryptocurrency market, but if we analyze the development of events for the whole 2019 with respect to the highest-rated cryptocurrencies, then we can say that Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as some popular altcoin, emerged from the bearish trend towards the former market.  But we have to admit the fact that almost the majority of all cryptocurrencies in the market have not shown good results even in the last two years, especially after the end of 2018, when the cryptocurrency market began to wake up.

the bearish market will definitely not go away and end here, because there are still many people who hope to get bitcoin or other crypto at a low price so that if there are still many offers on the market price, market price movements will continue to move to the lowest point.

For me, bitcoin price now better than what it's in end of December. For me, although price up and down, i believe bull run is coming and only need time, maybe not much longer for people to take profit from it. I believe halving will bring a  lot of positive thing for bitcoin and other altcoins.

For me, the market is currently in a downtrend, and it is still not uptrend compared to 2017. A lot of people believe that the bull market has started, and are expecting a new ATH this year but I'm sure it will not come. This year the market will continue to go up a bit and sideways, if we had a big pump this year and the price of bitcoin could surpass $ 13,000 then I might think again.

many are making similarities at the moment, same as halving before, in 2012-2013, 2016-2017, and now is 2020-2021. so, this year, it is said that the price of bitcoin will be prepared to rise at a high price, and will even reach its new ATH. It's just that, based on the information, predictions, and speculation that I get, people think that in the near future the price of bitcoin can break the $ 10k level. some people think that this month the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k, but, it seems like it's quite difficult if we see that bitcoin is really trying to hold on to an $ 8k level.

in my opinion this is just an ordinary price increase and has nothing to do with the bull. today I look at the market and it seems that bitcoin has lost its impetus to break through $ 9k, and it is likely that the price of bitcoin will drop again to the initial price of around $ 7k.
Today bitcoin has surpassed $ 9,000, but unfortunately this is a very stiff resistance area and bitcoin cannot sustain at this price, the price quickly went down to $ 8800 again. But I believe the bitcoin price will go up again and break it. There are not too many chances for bitcoin to fall below $ 7000 this year, halving has come very close and certainly in the near future there will be a lot of fomo investors entering this market.
Since then the price has still gone down a little bit more, and we are at a point in which it is not very easy to predict what the price will do, there are still many bearish signals that may point towards a further decrease in the price, but as we know the price of bitcoin is unpredictable and it could easily move up 500 or even 600 dollars in a matter of hours and surpass that limit that the bears are defending at 9000, and if the bulls can do it then most likely a growth to 10000 will be possible.

but I believe that the collapse will happen before the end of this year, up to the levels of 3000 dollars.
I don't think bitcoin will fall to $ 3,000 by 2020, it's clear the market is doing very well and there is no reason for bitcoin to fall in price.
I personally expect the price of bitcoin to reach $ 15,000 in June and $ 18,000 by the end of the year, let's follow it.

Everything is possible in the cryptocurrency market, people can make their own predictions. I personally think that the discount has passed and we are entering hopeful 2020.
In recent days the market has risen very high and everyone is excited about what is happening, in 2020 the market will have a high rise and it is likely that Bitcoin will reach $ 20,000 again.

Depending on the time or month that it will get back to $7k. If it is this January, then I don't see it as much of a drop because there is all hope it will rise again but if that comes after halving, then it won't sound nice and it might even go further deep.

Price increase is always be the first step for the bullrun or if not It could only be some investors trying to buy more btc. Just a slight pull back of the price then you have judged the next movement of btc already. Check it out in the market today btc is back up again with $8,700 level. $7,000 is way too deep to go back for now because btc is closely approaching the halving.

It's still very early to say that the bear market is already over, maybe let's just observe the first quarter of the year first.
The market last year was more bearish than bullish but we had some good bullish times which if we took advantage we can make profit.

I know we like a super bullish like 2017, of course it could happen and let's hope this is the right year as halving brings hype to the market.

Just do your own research because any theory doesn't really help.
basically the price speculation is never right, it just guesses from the available information. however, the current price of bitcoin is predicted to exceed $ 9k at the end of this month or higher. it is predicted that the potential of bitcoin this year is really huge, driven by halving, and other things. $ 10k, $ 15k, and $ 20k, that is a forecast

I also think the bear market is not over yet because my hunch is most likely bitcoin will dump again before it halves. in my opinion the pope will manipulate the market and make bitcoin prices dump again so they can buy bitcoin cheaply before bitcoin is reduced by half. honestly it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin but I really hope that 2020 is the year of victory for bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

everyone has a different analysis and prediction regarding the price of the next bitcoin. I agree with predictions saying that there is a high chance that bitcoin will dump again before it halves. because right now we are still in the middle of January and bitcoin will be reduced by half in May. for 4 months waiting I'm not sure bitcoin will continue to increase. there are times when bitcoin will go down again.
What you just said probably be true because that is how the market really works but i don't think the bitcoin halving this May will start to dump to make a bull run. It is expected that bull market will happen next year. Despite of what the people keep on hyping this will not going to make the market to be more bullish.

We should make our own research and keep eyes on market price be in touch with other investors and chat with them so we can share about real information about rise and fall of price. I think future is going to be bright because increasing number of investment will make people's thinking wise they will hold and wait no one know long will be taken to earn profit actually.  Prediction can be true or false so make sure to hold and wait.

The bearish market is not yet over neither is the bull run market is alive yet but the current market is just pre-preparation market for the upcoming bitcoin halving and it will be after halving before the real bull run will happen.

It could have the possibility of sudden fall, when this price will continuously pump and stabilized at top price. Just like the previous year of 2019, bitcoin value became so intense when remarkable increase hit off the marks but eventually breakdown so fast. The upcoming halving had been an most awaited part here, so by now let's wait and see any further updates to come anytime.

The bear market is already over when bitcoin price gained momentum after bouncing up at its hard bottom last year. Even we experienced the $14,000 to $7,000 last year, still, it can't be considered as bearish market but rather retracement as we all know that growth is not strong and anytime a crash will follow.

About the current situation, there are things we can look at where this increase started. Basically, this is not a bull run but rather people react following those recent events around the globe. I also believed that this increase is not because of the halving.

For prediction, just trust your own thoughts.

To be honest, it can consider a trap to those investors who buy during hypes but this is not what it traps to be. Knowing how volatile we are, they should anticipate first before a worse thing to happen and realizing that buying crypto during hypes is not really a good idea.

Well, we gonna expect that the market will work the same as what the previous halving is done. Most of us think for another ATH which I believe that it will come sooner but still, we can't think of 100% assurance nor to see that it will take another 2017.

No knows yet market is unpredictable and either this one is already the start of the bull run or just a trap.We would eventually know on what really it is as we move forward.

Hardest thing when we do trade up specially on short or long positions unless if you do hold for long term then these moving prices wont really be an issue.
If you are into active ones then reading up some news or sentiments would be useful but be careful on listening directly yet it would be either a fud or shills.

Still a bull trap? we came from $13,000 then it went down for $6,000 and still the current rise now is being determined as a bull trap? Yes, we can't be sure if it's the actual run or not prior to halving but you should focus on yourself and the price that you should be picking more bitcoin.

It's all worth it when the right time comes because you'll eventually see the profits that you will make when you have already decided to buy before you see the bullish turn of the market. No need for any forecast, determine yourself if you are a long term holder then just do it. But if you are a short term trader, it's also a good time for you to stack while you can.

I'm not sure if you can call it "traps".

But if you're talking about corrections, then for sure. Whenever prices rise significantly over a short period of time you should expect to have short term adjustments in price, even if the underlying fundamentals and sentiment doesn't change. For instance, we've seen BTC adjust from $8.2k to under $8k momentarily as it prepared for the next pump.

Markets are going to get increasingly bullish. That's all there is to it.

Well everyone is aware that the market is unpredictable but the reason I wanted to know their opinion is for the fact that we could compare of further plans with the other user's plan because most of us have been into crypto for years now and using their opinion we could understand where our thoughts sync and what difference do we have from other when it comes to future.  If you find this useless you could have ignored it because now we got one useless post in my thread.

you should be checking the weekly chart of BTC/USDT because i believe it would have to be higher than 10K before we see some dumps. i could be wrong with this. but if there will be dumps, its just bits. these dumps won't even go below 8k due to strong support. and i really believe the near halving is what drives this price. nothing more technical i can give as i'm not that of an expert but weekly charts is too far from signaling me to short.

50/50, we have seen this in the past, when we thought that we are out of the bears reach. Suddenly the market when on a bearish trend. Very hard to see where will this increase in price will go.

I missed the opportunity to buy when the price is still affordable, at least on my end (around $6k-$7k).
But let's see, I might get in before hitting that 5 digit again, so I will just wait and see if this is a real bull run or just a bull trap.

Hard to say mate, personally I thought that this is just a bull trap and that we might fall back to $7500 range. However, the market proved me wrong again. I was discussing with someone about the price as I was gone in the last 24 hours and was completely shock to see the price breaching $8500 on some exchanges.

And with that said, I don't like to make any predictions, I will just let the market do it's thing and flow normally. What I mean is that I don't like to see some artificial pump like we have seen with other altcoins right now. Everything is still base on supply and demand and I do hope that the demand today is real as it gets.

Hopes are still high, so it is possible to see the levels of 14,000 dollars before May, but I believe that the collapse will happen before the end of this year, up to the levels of 3000 dollars.

The price has proven resilient to fall below the $ 5,000 barrier, so we have set limits at a minimum of $ 5,000 and a maximum of $ 15,000 before the second quarter of this year.
Personally, I would expect to see an increase from 20% to 30% above the $ 7000 barrier, or in other words, an increase at $ 12,000 or $ 10,000, and after that, it will be a disastrous year, with a decrease below $ 4,000 or $ 2000 by the end of the year.
Generally, this halving will be the worst one.

It would be very polite to answer why you keep saying that price is going down to $2000 by the end of this year? I think you are just unnecessarily spreading some information that has nothing to do with anything specific, and especially not with some facts. Is there some TA that is point in that direction, is there any prophecy that predicts an economic meltdown or a third world war at the end of this year?

It's starting.
It might end up having a hard time to get back to 7k. Which means?!
Yeah!! Buyers will be coming. Demand will rise and value of bitcoin will grow.

If this kind of news goes out there then all buyers will be shaken up. They will start hoarding bitcoin and we might really see a 5 digit value back again.

People says that the bearish market is over but still some feels that it's a bull trap there will be one more dump before halving, some of them even believes that the bull run has already started. I know the market is unpredictable and nothing can be taken into consideration when it comes to predictions but kindly vouch your opinions about current market.
Indeed there is no guarantee but one thing that you should know when you intend to buy bitcoin moreover it is for long term investment you don't need to worry that you will be lose all your money. The speculation against bitcoin if you see per years then you will be watch that there will be many people/investor who says bitcoin price will be higher then now.

It means, there will be many investor who will keep their bitcoin on their wallet even there will be many people who try to add the capital to buy more bitcoin. So based of that me myself especially try not to worry with bitcoin price movement, I'll be happy if bitcoin price going up and I'll be stay calm when bitcoin going down.

Just what you are saying. Others are saying this while some others are saying that. Some say the price of Bitcoin has bottomed out. Some say we are still not getting totally free from the bears. What does that mean? Everyone has his own idea of a market that cannot be totally analyzed and understood. I'll sit down at the side waiting for the better days.

but I believe that the collapse will happen before the end of this year, up to the levels of 3000 dollars.

What.

That price level is long go, there's no way we will return to it, the next bottom will be around 7-9k, and it's very unlikely it will happen by the end of this year - we first have to go through the bull market and then at the end of a bull market will we have another bottom. If next bottom would be the same as the previous bottom, it would be bad news for Bitcoin.

The price has proven a strong ability to maintain $ 8000 levels for several days, but unless we see a rise in safety levels at $ 9,600, we may return to $ 7,400 when there is any breakdown or bad news.

Hopes are still high, so it is possible to see the levels of 14,000 dollars before May, but I believe that the collapse will happen before the end of this year, up to the levels of 3000 dollars.

In general, waiting is the best, we may see stability levels at 9,600 or a return to 7400, this is my best guess.

Prices are rising, BTC sitting at $8.5k, People having hopes that the dark clouds above the market are gone, who wouldn't say that the bear market is over with those things happening? Especially with all the talks about FOMO of BTC halving, everyone would get swept up the wave. And even if you don't, you'd still have that tiny bit of hope inside of you that what they are actually saying is true, and BTC is soaring right now. A lot of possibilities could come true tbh, but most of us hope that downward slopes are over.

If you really want to be sure of what you believe in, DYOR. That's it. Stop looking for online analysis results, random YT announcements of BTC rising whatnot. That's basically the only thing that could make you believe something tbh.

if people think that there will be more dumps, they should sell their current assets. Well, right now the price is quite high compared to the previous price, so isn't this a profit for them? I thought it was just the FUD that was feared, and spread to those who felt it would happen.
however, prices are currently rising, and this increase may continue until halving is passed.

There is still a long way to go before we can call this a bull run, we are on a good run and I am not going to try to steal that fun out of people by saying it is a bull trap neither because bull traps usually happens faster, when the price is so high for so long that is not really a bull trap, when it is going up people buy to be part of that going up thing and price then plummets which is what a bull trap is, when you are over $8k for weeks that is not really a "trap" anymore. This is why I feel like we had a good increase but not big enough to call a "bull", not every increase in price has to be a bull, it is just a simple regular increase, it is also not a bull trap, our people have to realize (wall street people already know this) not all increases are bulls and not all drops are bears.

Do your own research.

In the long term every time you buy bitcoin now is a good thing. The halving is in May so anything you buy now is almost guaranteed to make good profits within the next 2 years.

The price of bitcoin today is not naturally raised and is likely to be some responsible for this event. Maybe it was the whales who were making a trap to some new investor to buy bitcoin now.  So we have to be careful and not give in to the emotion of buying bitcoin right away.
It is better to be careful now with our decisions especially as the price of bitcoin is very unpredictable.

Yeah, it could be a bull trap.
But for whom? I believe it is just for FOMO's and then the weak hands.
Being a FOMO you buy while the price is increasing.
Being weak you sell when there is sudden stop at the pump which is happening.

When they are ll getting weak and they are losing funds, that is the time buyers will come for a cheaper price.
Sounds like an old trick already. Will it work? Let us see.

There is a chance of the bear run being over, with how BTC broke the $8.5k level just recently, and the bulls trying to push through to $8.6k. But it stands only as a chance. There's still a possibility of it going back down, just like what happened a few days ago where BTC pulled down to $7.7k after a run to $8k for two days.
As it stands though, a lot are looking at the market positively because of the recent $8.5k run by BTC, which is probably why they are spreading the word of the bear market being over.
