If you think bitcoin is risky then you must do your homework well. Bitcoin is risky and that is obvious but Altcoin are riskier than Bitcoin.
Just look through the charts of bitcoin and compare it with any altcoin and you will see that altcoins dump more when bitcoin is dumping.
You shouldn't buy altcoins because bitcoin is risky but you should buy them if you trust on the project and purpose of any altcoin.

invest in Unibright ,the main reasons:
1. Ubt still dont have major exchange and already in coinbase custody which will have huge potential to be listed in there and when it does there will be huge impact in the price.

If you have thought about investing in BTC then it is right, that investing in BTC is very risky but Altcoins are much more risky especially if you choose the wrong altcoin, and you plan to keep your investment for approximately one year then BTC is the most appropriate choice, or you can divide into several options BTC, ETH and BNB, good luck with your investment and again just use money that you can afford to lose.

I suggest you invest in bitcoin for your main investment. If you want to invest in altcoin, maybe you can try with ethereum or bnb, but the price is too high and it could make it difficult to buy a 1 eth or 1 bnb. If you want to invest in crypto by using $100-$500, then bnb can fit you and you can bnb at the current price. But if you have more than that money, you can select ethereum and bnb together. maybe you can choose BNB or LTC because they are still low priced and affordable for all people. because what I know now is that it is better to choose an altcoin with high potential than to be in bitcoin but not enough moneyyeah right, those mentioned coins are also good if you have low-budget, but it's a must to do your research before you invest your money, keeping or investing with good Alts aside from Bitcoin is not a bad idea.

Try to wager on blockchain gaming coin. Since I noticed that there is a hype going on with these coins. I saw you have asked the same question on another board (B&H). Being said that always there's a risk wherever you put the funds and when you couldn't handle it then it's better to quit asap or don't jump to invest at all. I personally wouldn't recommend you to invest in Bitcoin or other altcoins with that money since basically you need it to run your own business next year, besides that there's no guarantee that you would gain some profit from it.

Altcoins is more prone to risk, manipulations pump and dump schemes as compare to Bitcoin, but it can yield you high returns but only if you know what you are doing. Then invest on Bitcoin first and see how it goes, you don't need to buy 1 BTC right away because it's really expensive for use average joe. Just do what others are doing, stack up sats and accumulate overtime. That's the best advise you can hear. Of course you can still invest on alts, but be prepared for the price movement as it is also very volatile.

Crypto is all about taking risks. If you can't handle the risk, maybe you should put your money in a bank and collect interest instead. Also you are afraid of btc and looking for some other crypto which doesn't make much sense. btc is usually less volatile than the other crypto and that means it is less risky.
I was about to link my reply on a similar thread only to realize that you're the one who made it in the first place. This confirms my suspicious that you are more worried in investing your money trying to follow some kind of wave (perhaps FOMO?). My advice is still the same that I gave you on the other thread but with another one : If investing in BTC doesn't guarantee you that you'll have the required money that you want next year, for sure I can tell you that alt coins won't help you reach that goal faster.

it compared to altcoin , bitcoin have less risk although its price currently very volatile, but for long term its very profitable. If we see price drop hardly since touch all time high at 65k$, it should be our opportunity to but it on low price.
