Everyone I've tried has been utterly crap.
You may like to use any VPS plan from BestHostFree.com along with CloudFlare.com.

a DDOS cannot be stopped easily by small companies. they can promise you alot but in fact, they cannot deliver. that's why  a REAL ddos protection is expensive. the rest of them are just useless imitations or pure scams because they have fake advertising.
I agree with your argument. DDOS is an attack that carried a lot of people against one particular object.
The world is almost no one can avoid the DDOS. even large companies ever attacked by DDOS.

What have you tried so far? What was crappy about them? What kind of traffic do you have?

There are lots of things you need to answer before any good suggestions come about.

hostinger accept bitcoin payment but i am not sure if they have good doss protection. but i had used their service for hosting my low traffic site for free and their service was awesome but heavy traffic in free version is little problematic.

But we need more detailed about your question, bu I think if you're wanna for using ddos protection for a small scale of your site just trying for using cloud flare are already enough in this time.

For small level of DDOS cloudflare free service can be enough and they also provide upgrade feature.
Another hosting dedicated towards bitcoin is coinhost and they also have ddos protection service but i haven't tried them personally you can check this service here https://coinshost.com/en/ddos-protection
They also accept Litecoin (LTC) and Nextcoin (NXT) along with bitcoin.

a real DDOS protection costs +5k pe month or more and the biggest companies who can realy mitigate a DDOS, they do not accept BTC. It's useless for them as long there are credit/debit cards and bank wires(the amounts are not low at all as I already said).

What 5k? that is insane. Isn't Cloudfare enough? that's what everyone uses and they are doing good and it's free. Yeah there are enterprise plans for 5k for who needs that unless you are moving insane amounts of traffic? I think OP is asking about paying with BTC for some more simpler protection.
