There are many rating websites. ICObench, ICOrating,... But i believe in icorating. This websites assess projects carefully. After that, i always check again. I find the info of manager team, the target of projects,... More informations are the guarantee of your money.

I think that on average, all sites rank projects are fake, and many new projects have sprung up, I believe that all new projects are 90% of poor quality or lead to fraud and leave only 10% of good quality
I suggest trusting OmegaStarScream staff

I think the rating site for any project is not pure, there are some problems that occur now and a few months ago after the emergence of ICO projects everywhere, that is a scam ICO because a good rating does not guarantee in the future, there are some people who have been fooled To believe in rubbish ratings, analysis is the most effective way to find a good project, everything has been played by the site manager, I am sure that there are many scams with a high-level rating.

With all these dump that is happening, it is difficult to know which project is on top.

Going beyond the ICO ratings will be the solution. Do not just stop looking there.
Whitepaper is the best place to look at how great a project could be.

I just got one tip for you. Look for a long term project. Most of the short term are already losing by now in terms of their value.
It will be better if you see it with a lot of usage in the future.

Do you know some good project rating websites ?
I want to invest some ico or private placement.

Don't! Just don't. Like everyone here said, ICO rating websites are fraud. They get paid to advertise and rate an ICO even if it's completely shite. Even most popular ICO review site I know lists some icos which turned out to be a scam or a failed project which have no stable coin price.
If you want to invest your money, do your own research and read what the ICO is about, seek for their backgrounds. You can't just trust someone or something irl just because a stranger talks positively about it, can you?

Use your own brain before investing your hard earned money in any ICO. None of the rating websites are good for such a decesion. Majority of them offer ratings in exchange of money! Which means, ICO owners can actually buy ratings by paying money. So the merit of the program doesn't really matter to them. This is a botched system so use your own brain before investing and remember a Golden rule that, never invest anything which you can't afford to loose.

ICOBench, ICORating, TokenMarket are all rating sites but, I personally don't believe that the ratings are not biased and some of them are even paid for.

In other words, stay away from these sites. If you want to rate an ICO project, look at the team, the project, the roadmap and read the whitepaper. Don't invest in a project because there is a hype around it, that usually ends badly.
Researching all the projects by yourself takes too much time. So why don't we reduce the number of them by choosing projects with an average rating and to research only them?

Don't know why so many people here are recommending ICObench, you do realise that most of the reviews on these website are either paid for in some way, or fraudulent in some way. You absolutely cannot rely on ICObench ratings to accurately judge the trustworthiness or safety of a project. Use your own judgement, it's the only way you'll have nobody to blame if mistakes are made.

Not all projects cant be found on these ICO rating websites, some better ICOs never even get there. I used some professional spreadsheets and sometimes I may not find half of the project listed. Most of these ICOs paid to get the high ratings which make the ratings sometimes deceptive. I will recommend the ICO spreadsheet for there track records, you can check the forum for the spreadsheets. They are well researched by professionals who also are investors.

It is not good to be dependable to a bunch rating sites, you can consider some of their reviews to help you decide fully to your investments options to some ICO's but don't make them your primary option to choose from different kinds of projects, you are the one who should rate those ICO's, I remember one ICO possess some good reviews from scorers at that time but some people checked their team authenticity and background it turns out they are lying to their investors the whole time, it was an exit scam, the scorers gave poor ratings after that and some of them changed their reviews lol, they should have done that in the first place.

I have to agree that most rating website cant be trusted as most likely they are getting paid by the project to give good rating or they are just personal user like us who give rate based on their own researches/believe. You should not rely on those rating website, do your own researches about the project and compare it to the rating websites.
These days we should be careful to choose which ICO projects to invest our money, if you have know good knowledge about how to choose good projects then I suggest you to learn about it first.

Basically lot of sites providing ratings for the ICOs but is it all of them were trustable? I don't think so because many ICOs who were given good ratings by some of the sites turned into scams which means these ratings also can be bought as well.So don't trust them just invest on the project if you have clear idea about that project that you are going to invest.

The current world everything is money so most of the rating sites are play the new investors so do not trust the rating sites. If you really interested to invest on ICO investment you should analyse properly in ICO project.
But most of the scam projects also looks like a trusted one so you can choose some ICOs then ask the suggestions of your convinced platform. Surely many experts are ready to suggest the good project.

There are many ICOhost website where we can list ICO project but only few ICOhost actually publish ICO on their calendar after doing research such as tokenmarket, ICOtracker many others. I would like to suggest you for rating purposes you can go for ICObench, ICOdrops. They are having huge traffic on their website and provide service at minimal cost as well.

Come on now. If you're planning on investing based on some sites "opinions"(actually probably mostly paid ratings) and not actually doing research yourself, then you're better off not investing in cryptocurrencies. Use your money for something else you understand and you're willing to learn about instead.

I only trust ICOdrops.

Rest all are fake and not trusted.

Even ICO drops need to be careful with.

Answering your tittle : No. Most of them are fake, because they can get paid to give good rating on ICO. You can do research about ico that you want to join by yourself.
But you can still use the site to know what ico that currently running and from there, you can research it by yourself.

I don't recommend websites who are giving high rating to different projects. Most if not all of them are being paid for high rating although only a few of the investors know this.

Don't use project rating websites as a basis in investing in ICO tokens. As @OmegaStarScream said, stay away from them and I agree with it. They are just useless junk websites for me. I think use other basis in investing and not this ratings.
