A photo of the road map was leaked weeks before the release. So some people already know some, and to be honest, when a person read all the docs available you can already derive the roadmap. The roadmap is kind of tricky since every phase of an era is backed by research papers for academics to review. In this fashion, it is not the usual other projects that the team will just easily release the road map at their whim. In cardano's case, every phase of the project is backed by scientific theory that will be subject to peer review.
Whatever you expect will definitely not change anything. However, they have a very good team and it seems pretty much like a project that would make some waves. But we cannot really say as the ocean is quite big and there are so many similar projects with same idea. Only time absolutely will tell.I am not ready to believe this is not an usual project. If ready to spend some 2 minutes then anyone can list out similar projects for sure.
