Hot off the press, an update from the StableCoin developer over on the forum (shown in my sig) that may be of interest to those of you looking to participate in the SBC community or just keeping up to date with relevant news. Could be good news to any of you looking to use for local businesses or even just from a currency trading angle.

Any help for the community appreciated.

There's a press release coming down the wire sometime next week, and I'm currently in talks in with a guy who is starting up an exchange in India. He's interested in adding SBC. The Indian market is huge, and could easily have the same effect on cryptocurrency that China did. http://blogs.wsj.com/indiarealtime/2013/12/12/bitcoin-fever-catches-on-in-india

There's some other stuff going on behind the scenes as well, but it'd be great if the community got involved with promotion as well. There's only so much I can manage on my own.

Hi all

There have been some discussion threads in the new StableCoin forum (http://forums.stablecoin.net) about how to further develop this coin, its uses, its geographic appeal and its potential markets.

The Indian market has be one of those discussed so I thought I'd mention it here in case any of you are interested in reading more or looking for the opportunity to contribute to shaping how this coin and community develops. You may also have some great ideas as to how it could be used in your region.

I'm sure at minimum the community would be grateful to hear any feedback you have on how alt coins are viewed in India and what role they might have in the future.

I know Artos (bitcointalk username of the StableCoin dev) has also been getting translations of the StableCoin web site generated via this main SBC thread (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annsbc-from-death-comes-life-the-rebirth-of-stablecoin-urgent-update-349198)

Again, this may be something one of you would like to get involved with.  Just thought I'd drop by and mention it.

Thanks for reading  Smiley
