I want to start trading on Poloniex again but I want to know if the delays with withdrawals are fixed. I havent seen any new threads complaining about them, so is it safe to assume that everything is safe and good with them?

I'm still hearing some complaints a week ago.

Even if complaints stop i would not risk having my coins stuck at poloniex. If you do something wrong, such as getting your account suspended or depositing the wrong coin to the wrong address it's going to be a complete hassle to get your coins back.

My point is that, even if withdrawals resume to be fully functional, in case something goes wrong, their support isn't there for you. I wouldn't risk it.

Persoanlly i would not risk it. Poloniex isn't even that great anymore considering the fact that their volume has gone significantly down and they're not even in the top 5 altcoin exchanges anymore. Bittrex has achieved higher volume on a regular basis.

Plus, poloniex support still is quite shitty and i've still heard lots of people complain.

So unless you are only exchanging small amounts that you are willing to lose, don't use them.

This looks bad. Some of their users are thinking that they might have been hacked and theyre not telling the community about it. But I still think their problems are mainly technical. Just give them time to fix their site.

Yeah. For now I am sticking to Bittrex too.

Their problems were meant to be logistical, not technical - they were meant to have hired more support staff and redeployed trollbox mods - so why is it that, approaching four months later, support is as bad as ever?

Do yourself a favour and don't touch these jokers.

People have been bumping the regular threads. More importantly, check the replies to their Twitter posts or the Poloniex subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/PoloniexForum/

The front page is brutal. People are still waiting 3-4 months on unanswered tickets. Stuck withdrawals for long periods are still a regular thing. There is talk of filing a class action lawsuit against them at this point. I saw a thread recently where someone was trying to show up at their offices (MT Gox style) and there was no real office. He was able to find a firm in the building that acted as agent for service for Poloniex, and apparently the lawyer he spoke with said he wasn't the first one who has come looking for them.

For now, I'm sticking to Bittrex and Shapeshift.

As far as i know there are still people that have issues with their withdrawal system. Plus, their support is still a bit dodgy considering that they never reply to tickets on time for some people and the verificatino process takes ages.

If you want to use it for small trades, then there shouldn't be a problem.

But if big deposits/withdrawals go wrong, then the only way that you're going to reach them is via their support ticket system, which is unreliable.
This is best solution try to start from small amount because I am also using this site for some time with my small amounts and my account is verified I never have any problem with my withdrawals because these works for me very quickly without any problem most of time I have less then 1 bitcoin which is not bad at all
