I have a decentralized social network problem. If the legal framework forces you to follow certain political issues. The project you need to be transparent about the team. So which country's legislation is best for this, or do all decentralized projects need to be anonymous?

how about cayman island. this tax-free country is quite crypto friendly. the binance office is also in the country. or estonia, this country is also quite good. many new projects are registered in this country. they are also easier to give permission. I heard that there are more than hundreds of crypto projects registered in this country.

Some prefer to do it anonymously but of course if the project will launch big or massive token sale they need of course some legal frameworks especially if they arr going to big launchpad platform. This is also to protect the investors from fraud projects. But if the project launches on dex, some agree even the team is anonymous but of course we need extra careful with this as rugged pull projects are very concerning issue.

A decentralized project team would remain anonymous, no issue for that. But if you intend to raise funds from the public then it would be challenging for you nowadays. However, rather than make team public you could use potential Dox service from a reputed third party. If your project is cryptocurrency-related and it is not allowed by your local government, then you may issue a business license from any other country where cryptocurrency is allowed. For example, UAE or Singapore would be the best choice to take the License in case you need it. But a decentralized project really doesn't necessarily issue License if you aren't gonna raise funds. We need more information about your platform what exactly you want to build.

Being anonymous or not become your own choice. You will be determining whether you must become anon or not but again people are always seeing a project with anonymous project as a scam project. If your project will be marked as a scam project and then you must not be surprised to see that. It's caused by people are seeing your project as an anon project.

yes i agree with you. decentralized projects do not have to be anonymous. because the first thing everyone sees is the team, being anonymous it will only lower people's trust. After all, if the project is good, why should you be afraid to appear in public. there are many pure decentralization projects, whose team published. just look at ethereum with Vitalik, or charlie liee with his Litecoin. being anonymous is sometimes unwelcome and not good for project development.
I'm just looking for a way to make the project compliant with national legislation. I do not intend to remain anonymous. Thanks for your opinion

If you're for decentralization then there's no need for you to look for any country that has good legislation with such projects. And it's really a wise choice that you show the people behind that project. Well, these days even if you make projects that are decentralized, people are going to look for who are the makers behind. It's going to give them confidence if the people working for that project are trustworthy or not.

Our project is a decentralized social network. However, we do not wish to remain anonymous. It's not good to wear a scam label. We already have a company but we are considering opening another company in SG. With a decentralized social network, it works on the blockchain network, without the need for a server.

Don't you think they will find out who the people behind the network? Tracking the website servers and so on or even the domain registrar.

You won't have issues when the social network is just small but when a social network becomes bigger and gains influence to the people eventually will have to answer pressure from governments. Once your decentralized project gets bigger though you will also have money to have legal counsel.

Do you want to register a company for the project? Because only then it is crucial in which country you are located and which legal basis then applies to the project. You can of course run it as a founder without a company and create an international decentralized team, then you don't have the problems with the legal part, as long as you don't want to set up a company and foundation.

I think that you can go to the country that is used by exchange sites as their main quarter. Transparency is really important in crypto since it's all about money. So many scam projects make people are paying more attention to the transparency by the team.

Anyone can develop a project with decentralization, and the team is anonymous, but the team from the project is not allowed to recruit finance from investors, but belongs to autonomous parties. As Bitcoin was developed without being based on advertising or recruiting investors. So that the authorities do not need to supervise the project. The success of the project depends on the blockchain system they develop.
