I doubt a guy like OP that looking for an online mining apps will be interested on purchasing expensive rigs and do a complex mining farm setup. He is the typical guy wants a profit from a lazy way or else he will not look for an apps for his convenience to earn passively.
I definitely agree with you there but it could be that OP doesn't have money to spend which the money is what will be used to buy mining rig or what you have said about OP being lazy and just wanted to have a passive income from using mining apps which I think OP won't find by if there is then it most likely a scam app. Let's just wait if OP will come back to this thread to read the replies from us and see what will OP think about it.

Hi but if you are looking for a website that give free BTC and been running for so long or one of the oldest website then freebitco.in is where you should be visiting.

Faucet is not worthy to invest time anymore. I’d rather focus my energy and free time on games and other form of entertainment instead of solving captcha and earns less than a penny in a very limited time. This can be considered as waste of time too if your goal is to earn some profit.

If you have money for it then why not do it but it you don't have the money for it then don't.

I doubt a guy like OP that looking for an online mining apps will be interested on purchasing expensive rigs and do a complex mining farm setup. He is the typical guy wants a profit from a lazy way or else he will not look for an apps for his convenience to earn passively.

Hi
I just want to ask if there are any legit btc mining that i can start mining with as a newbie?

Just like what other members say there's no way that you could actually mine on a smartphone on an application because it just doesn't have mining power or hardware that could possibly mine Bitcoin or even other altcoins, I mean there are somewhere you could mine using your pc back in the day I can mine some altcoins using my pc on some website I can sell them on the market but it just wasn't worth that much and considering it's going to use your GPU it just wasn't worth it the way I see it.

There are some popular mining that gets trendy in the past months I think, Pi network I think where you can mine them on your smartphone but it turns out to be fake, you just need to open the application and it would start to mine already but it was just numbers and UI where you see the numbers increasing thinking that your phone is actually mining, but they just do it to get peoples information since you need to register and have an account on the application. The way I see it is developers of this Pi network are actually legitimate, but thinking that the coins you mine on your smartphone would get a value is very low. I mean if it did it would still not even be worth it because of its supply.

If you see an app that let's you mine then you should avoid because it is a waste of time but if you are looking for a website that give free BTC and been running for so long or one of the oldest website then freebitco.in is where you should be visiting. If you really are into mining then why not buy mining rig to start mining though it will surely cost you money for the mining rig and future expenses for its maintenance. If you have money for it then why not do it but it you don't have the money for it then don't.

Trusted probably none. But Im not sure about Binance product. Cause I subscribed on their telegram and see some post about mining of bitcoin, though Im not interested thats why I didnt see details or how does this particular product works on them. Maybe some sort of like using btc something like that to run. You can check out for yourself, but if you are looking for an app for mining then its literally hard or possibly scam only.

Hey, listen up!! There are no such apps... Bitcoin mining hasn't been simplified to that version, sorry! Anything else of this nature is a pure SCAM!!  I don't support that as I won't take what's not rightfully mine either!!
This is all done in a bid that a fake mempool is pre-organised and you'll be Aksed at the end to either inject a little amount of BTC to settle up mining fees, or whatever... But all you'll be seeing on that site are actually fake confirmations... Don't dare!!!

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
I'd seen a lot of apps on the internet and tried one just to confirm if that is true and legit but the speculations are definitely right, all of them are tricks and scams. So it was not advisable to download those apps because this might be the reason for hacking our phones as well.

Let us imagine that if those apps are legit, many people had become rich already - it was free mining as offered but because it was not, they are just ignored. So, I suggest OP stop thinking it really exists, better to spend his money buying Bitcoin rather than wasting his time with these fake mining apps.
Lol I thought it was just me for fun to try some apps like that it turns out you are like that too, even though I have faith that some of those apps are pure SCAM but for some reason sometimes I wonder what they are like and how some of these apps work.
Sorry back on topic. Yes, it is true that expecting to get Bitcoin from these applications is impossible or can be called fraud and completely does not match the advertisements displayed.
It's true that if there really was such an app then there would be lots of people getting rich in an easy way. For the OP, instead of being busy making sure and looking for things that are uncertain and unreasonable, you better learn how to trade or invest in Bitcoin.

I've never even trusted any mining app via phone or browser. Apps like that are just bullshit apps that take advantage of their users to click on ads and there will be no BTC for them to earn. Maybe some apps look real, but in the end it's just a trash app. If you want to get Bitcoin, just buy it at the Centralized Exchange and you will get it easily and safely. Mining applications installed on cellphones are sometimes dangerous and some are already infected with malware.

To be honest,it's very rare to see a legit Bitcoin mining app . Believe me I've gone into many for quite some time and they didn't yield any result. If you manage to get any legit one , it takes a long time before you can get your reward. The apps mostly depends on the companies who made them and the time they decide to launch the apps
Bitcoin also began like that too but it took a while. So I wouldn't discourage from going into mining Bitcoin but just know the right one to do so you wouldn't end up wasting your time

There are a lot of mining apps that can be found in the play store but guess what, you are just fooling yourselves because these apps are useless. I tell you that I was a victim of this and hoping that was real, of yeah, what I've got are just numbers but no way you can get them.
If you really wanted to go mining, better to acquire mining machines as for sure you can get BTC from this. Well, that was an expensive investment and risky mate so, it's up to you then to decide. But if I were you, just buy BTC and hold, it was not stressful and less risky, and most of all, profit is certain when you can sell them at the right time, unlike mining.

Try out . Freebitco They are one of the oldest and are still rewarding users, but the reward is very small. You might need to minne for like a decay before you can get what could be worth something for you.

It's completely a waste of time for me, though. All these free mining sites that reward users have all been reduced the moment Bitcoin gained value, and no one is willing to waste some Bitcoin again. If you want to mine some Bitcoin, why not just go into mining fully, get some of the required tools, and set things up? Or better yet, buy and hold some Bitcoin for yourself. There is no more free money anywhere.

For me, mining bitcoin is just like wasting time because I don't have the time to spend my money on anything else. Instead of mining bitcoin, I would prefer to buy it directly and hold it for a while. Some people always like free money or anywhere else where they can get free air drops or mining, but these free things are not as good as they used to be. You might start at the beginning and end up regretting it because even when you are looking for free money, you might run into a con artist who will try to confuse you and introduce you to something else so that you will feel greedy and invest your money in it before you realise that everything you have worked for has been stolen.

Although mining is still possible, I don't have much time for it, so my recommendation is that if you have a lot of money to invest in bitcoin rather than waste it on mining would be beneficial. This way, you can have peace of mind. I'm not saying that mining is a bad thing to do, but sometimes it would be better to invest directly in bitcoin rather than waste time on it.

Hi
I just want to ask if there are any legit btc mining that i can start mining with as a newbie?

Hmm for mining you basically don't need an app you need the hardware, you need to have a mining machine based on various components you can visit the Mining section the Bitcoin for the component guide. As you are saying app probably means that you want to start cloud mining and there are various cloud mining platforms legit and scams as well so be aware. Even though last few weeks ago I heard Binance is also providing cloud mining not sure I'll have a look again and then catch you up.

My recommendation is that cloud mining is rewarding but you have to buy the hash rate there as well and it's less rewarding as with hash rate they provide you the consent reward of the pool, self Mining is more recommended because there is a risk but highly rewarding if by luck you compete the current Hash rate and mine a single block haha it will be the reward beyond the reach comparing to could mining.

I'm sure op like other beginners have heard tips from a cheater that there are mining apps and that you can get profits using them. At the same time, I find it good that he came here to ask and research before venturing into trying any application. It would be unfortunate if these scam projects still managed to cause victims.

Try out . Freebitco They are one of the oldest and are still rewarding users, but the reward is very small. You might need to minne for like a decay before you can get what could be worth something for you.
This site is a faucet and not a mining app. It is almost the last of the Bitcoin faucets that have been active for many years. Generally, it does not grant significant amounts, and you need months to collect an amount worth withdrawing. But at the same time, these sites are more honest and credible than any application whose owners claim to be able to mine.

There is no genuine Bitcoin mining app. Many apps using that label are fake/scams. While some apps make payments, but that's not mining. And the payments are typically small.

They don't have mining AFAIK but, they have a faucet.

Yea, I get to understand that there is a difference between the reward gotten from Freebitco, which is faucet, and that of mining after a few comments and corrections from a few members above. I mistaken it for mining since, when I was using it back then, I could remember some kinds of things that were called mining, but I was totally wrong or misinformed based on the information I got when I was introduced to it.

I'm guessing you have probably seen their browser mining? see: freebitco.in "Browser Mining" - is it worth it? which has been long defunct as I checked this last year or so. I would also note that they weren't mining bitcoins but probably cpu-mineable coins like XMR. BTC is just too difficult as others mentioned.
Maybe that was what nwada has seen but mostly for freebitco, the known one from them was a faucet and I've used them before very long time ago. No biggie @Nwada, that's totally fine.

Invest our money to buy Bitcoin is safer than invest it in Cloud mining services. I don't see benefit is bigger than safety for our capital if we want to take risk with Cloud mining service.
These cloud mining services will always appear and as long as there are investors that will be misled by these services, they'll come to exist and hopefully that many will start to see that they're not really a good way to invest and believe that you're actually mining.

No, there is not. Cloud mining services exist and most (if not all) of them are scams. The thing you can do from your phone is to buy bitcoins, manage wallets, and trade bitcoins. You cannot mine bitcoins from any phone.
Cloudmining 101 (ponzi risk assessment)
Not all cloud mining services are scam but most of them are scam.

Mining Duration:
180 Days Start from $13.1580
(Min. 1TH/s)
Est. Mining Duration
2023-09-30 ~ 2024-03-27
Purchase Every 1 TH/s: Cost 13.1580 USD
Est. Output During Mining
0.00000227 BTC * 180 Days

So you pay $ 13 to get back 0.00000227 BTC * 180 which is 0.0004086 BTC in 180 days, valued right now at 12$.

You have two scenarios:
- the price goes up so the mined bitcoins are worth more, but it makes no sense, you could just buy them now
- difficulty drops by a ton so you would get more coins, but that's just as improbable and far more likely it's going to go up, making it even less profitable

Yeah we already discussed here but for some reason people still want  a cloud mining hahahah

I just know after you guys tell me, and yes it actually profitable but razor thing margin and we need 3 month to get return of investment for now it is not worth it too, it is better to buy with DCA technique and maybe the return will more than this.

* Hashrate Fee 0.02 + Electricity Fee 0.0531 = 0.0731/USD/T/Day (the historical output 0.0776/USD/T/Day - Fee 0.0731/USD/T/Day = 0.0045/USD/T/Day

I wonder where the 23% comes from

So right now it's 0.0777 in profit with 0.0200+0.0531, a bit better than yours but still, you get
0.0731 in expenses and 0.0777 in revenue, which is 0.0041 in profit, so a 5% margin, nowhere near a 23% stated there.
Taking into account the current mempool spam that drove the fees up and you get a 5% bonus from this which might not be there tomorrow the profit is paper thin, one tiny dif increase and you're losing coins.

I only know 3 of them Binance, Nicehash, and miningrigrentals are currently trusted sites who offer renting hashrate/Cloud mining.

Bitdeer, which is actually the only one that has its own hashrate as it's run by Bitmain and it's not simply a reseller of rented hash rate from a pool.
Oh, and their price plan is better than Binance
Hashrate Fee: $0.0172/T/D vs $0.0200/T/D

Hi

Bitcoin mining is no longer efficient bro, because of the number of miners competing and the number of Bitcoins that have been mined, to make a profit through mining will be very difficult at this time and there are already many scam mining services.
be careful if you are currently looking for Bitcoin mining in your browser then maybe right now your screen may have lots of ads showing and offering the process of mining Bitcoin for free and easily via your cellphone, laptop or computer but in fact they are all deception or scam.
if you are a beginner i advise you to learn basic knowledge about Bitcoin then you can learn how to invest or maybe just how to trade instead of you focusing on trying to mining.

Instead of searching for cloud mining or similar options, I recommend focusing on learning about Bitcoin and its workings if you're a newcomer. It's important to understand that mining Bitcoin requires specialized equipment, and there is no legitimate way to mine it solely using a mobile device or laptop. Beware of websites or individuals claiming otherwise, as they are likely scammers. It's crucial not to trust them or make any deposits to purchase hash rate, as you'll likely be deceived. Instead, dedicate your time to educating yourself about Bitcoin and its mining process.

There is no app which will mine Bitcoin for you with CPU or GPU. You need ASIC miners to mine Bitcoin.
Ethereum cannot be mined aswell due to it being Proof of Stake now after their major update last year.

Anyone telling you that you can mine Bitcoin with an app is potentially trying to install virus in your system and may lead to financial loss.
If there is any app you are aware of like this, make sure to report it on this forum and aware others.
I fully agree on your statement there is not such a kinda free mining app.  Of mining we have to arrange do big setup have to install to mine with High GPU power. But we can consider to join free legit website such freebitco which really user friendly & hours basis spin to win unlimited prizes

You cannot mine bitcoin any more with your mobile devices, laptops or desktop computers anymore. The days when these were possible are long gone.To have any hope on mining at the time, you need some highly sophisticated gadgets to archive this purpose and the cost on energy to run the process is way too high to operate and maintain.

Should you be attempting mining bitcoin by joining any cloud mining site or app, you would as well end up over working your device processor for something that is of no benefit for you.

mining apps that claim they can give you profit for free is a scam, mining apps/websites that offer you a "mining package" promising that you a guaranteed profit is a scam. if you want to mine Bitcoin, it would be best for you to actually buy mining rigs. if you are really interested in mining Bitcoin and have questions, there are members here in the forum that might be able to help you answer your questions.

Just as others have said, there is no mobile app that you can use to mine Bitcoin. If it were before, as of some years ago, there was this Telegram bot that was paying users some Satoshi just to complete some tasks like watching ads, following social media pages, liking some videos, and commenting on them etc. It was working very fine then but was really time-wasting and a waste of data subscription, but in a month you could still get like $5 worth of Bitcoin, and before then you might have wasted data of about $10, which never balanced with the stress.

OP, the only way to earn Bitcoin is to invest in it.

Anyone who promises you’ll be able to mine Bitcoin for free or anything close to free will scam you. You’re being scammed out of personal information, they’ll collect data from you and sell it, you’ll pay and never see your money again or anything else that’s categorized as scam.

Stay away from such offers, please. If it was this simple to mine BTC, BlackRock would be the dumbest investor ever purchasing that many rigs instead of buying used smartphones and using them as miners. Less energy usage, smaller investment, same profit? Doesn’t it sound.. too good to be true? Cheesy

Since you're a newbie and you're looks like trying to earn money in free, you're too late because mining Bitcoin right now required an expensive mining rigs, it's not like decade ago where you get profit by mining Bitcoin using old CPU/GPU using your PC.

Try to learn a new skill e.g. UI/UX, design, digital marketing, writer if you want to earn money without any cost.

Yes I do agree with you cloud mining is totally waste of time and waste of money because some of it will end of scam and turned into ponzi scheme

tho i found cloud mining by binance but i never try it by myself https://pool.binance.com/en/cloud
If you think cloud mining is totally waste of time and waste of money, I don't see any reason why you should recommend one of site that offer cloud mining.

There is no more free money anywhere.

Yes I do agree with you cloud mining is totally waste of time and waste of money because some of it will end of scam and turned into ponzi scheme

tho i found cloud mining by binance but i never try it by myself https://pool.binance.com/en/cloud

Op it's just as others have said, free/cloud mining is a complete waste of time and to even make you believe more they'll set up a counter that shows you the amount of Bitcoin you have been able to mine with their service but when it comes to withdrawal you will be asked to pay some certain amount and if you're naive enough to go on with the payment then you'll be kicked out of their system without receiving any coin from them.

I would advice that you save up some money and buy little Bitcoin rather than to start scroll through the internet searching for free Bitcoin, if you continue you'll only end up in the dens of scammers.

Try out . Freebitco They are one of the oldest and are still rewarding users, but the reward is very small.

There's a difference between faucets and cloud mining, freebitco.in offers free BTC to enable users test their gambling system and if you're lucky enough you might be able to multiply it till it gets to the minimum withdrawal amount.

No, there is not. Cloud mining services exist and most (if not all) of them are scams. The thing you can do from your phone is to buy bitcoins, manage wallets, and trade bitcoins. You cannot mine bitcoins from any phone.

Try out . Freebitco They are one of the oldest and are still rewarding users, but the reward is very small. You might need to minne for like a decay before you can get what could be worth something for you.

Freebitco is not a bitcoin mining app.

If you come across any kind of app claiming that you can download and install it to be able to mine Bitcoins, there are very high chances that it's malware or adware.
100% SCAM.
