na I want to use it for day-to-day shopping etc - as I live of crypto, using gift cards etc all the time is a bit annoying cause of shipping etc.

Then you won't have any problems using it as it works at PoS sales, (most) online purchases, ATM withdrawals (with a few limitations) and so on.

They are best suited if you don't spend loads of money per day (the maximum is about 3000EUR per day and 30K EUR per month IIRC). Otherwise, just get one of the KYC debit cards marketed for businesses.

I am not picky on the type of office, for all I care can be a 5x5, however, I need something that I can pay for in crypto - primarily based in West London.
What business are you planning to run in london.

For the people of london payment with Bitcoin is no stranger to them what else hotel, food, Shopping & Services, cafes, Sports etc.

You can find here: MAP: Bitcoin ATMs and shops that accept BTC payment in London, I hope this helps and your business goes smoothly.

There are a few companies you can apply for a crypto-backed debit card which you can reload through their wallet app, eg. OWNR wallet, and they send it to you though shipping.

For stuff like rent, they are also less sketchy than using gift cards most of the time. Most reservation places accept debit cards anyway.
very interested in this, but I'm not interested in KYC, do they require KYC? if so, are there any non-kyc alternatives?

The ones I mentioned all require KYC. However there is one bitcointalk service I use that will send you a physical debit card to your address for about 1000EUR and works with nearly all services (it is denominated under one of their staff's name): Anonymous crypto-loadable debit card - No KYC - Private Card Services. He is fast and responsive to inquiries.

(don't try to use it for cloud computing services like AWS, it'll link but they may/will close your account for "proof of address")

So, I want to now setup a basic base of operations for my business, however, I am not trying to pay in FIAT.

At the moment I am thinking of renting a cheap hotel room with crypto-bought gift cards because of how, empty this market is.

The last crypto project that offer this kind of services was Primalbase (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/primalbase-distributed-workspace-for-tech-community-1930971) but they already discontinued there services for unknown reason. I don't know if there stll project out there that offer this kind of services but you can try the suggestion of user above, You can use Crypto.com and Swipe wallet as crypto debit card to make crypto payment to appartment.
