Thanks for the video! =) I didn't know about cold boot attacks until your post. I actually use TrueCrypt and Apple's FileVault, so this affects me directly.
It appears as though no disk-encryption software is immune, so the only "solution" is to turn off your PC when you're not using it.  I'm gonna start shutting down my MacBook instead of putting it to sleep. Undecided

The most important thing is that when Bitcoin client implements it's wallet encryption, that it doesn't make the same mistake.

Some of these tools have corrected storing keys in DRAM, and this video is from 2006. I think most companies would have their products updated from five years ago.
