To become a delegate you need to win the popularity contest first
Anyone else know some other coins with the DPOS mining mechanism? I am still interested to be an miner/delegate/witness and get some free coins. Thank you so much.
I know there is a Chinese alt coin named ASCH (XAS) that can be mined with the DPOS mode. And there are 101 delegates. You can see some detail information on this official ann thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annaschxas-1880303
I knew this coins, but there are two problems:
1)It is hard to buy some coins since the main exchange is JUbi.COM, which is not so friendly to other users besides the Chinese.
2) The 101 delegates are very stable now, if I want to join in, I have to buy a lot of coins just like LISK.

That is true, it is not so easy to be an active delegate of the ASCH. And as far as I know, if you have some skill to do some contribution to this community, maybe you have the chance.
Hello, guys, recently I am interested in some DPOS coins, after doing some research I found the LISK, ARK and DCT are in this way, but it is too hard to join in because of the high threshold. So I want to know if there is other chearper DPOS coins and I want to become a delegate/witness. Thank you.
well I don't have any idea but thanks OP for opening this thread so we can see more information regarding to this type of investment, holding coins and allow the stake to give you good earnings I think lisk is good one but like what you have said its really a big numbers of coins before you can get good gains in return. hope to see ore inputs from different people who knew this coins that have this DPoS features.That is what I want to say with the LISK, the price is much higher then a few month ago, and if I want to get in, I have to buy more then 100k lisk, that is really a big number for me.
