i dont know about thier KYC terms , the last time i use that exchange is they never asked me to make a kyc . How large the funds you want to widraw why its needed to have a kyc did you already tried to widraw wothout passing a KYC?

The best things that can help is the exchange support they are the only one who can help yoiu.

It if it's not much money I'd suggest to avoid kyc, hitbtc is shady as hell and personal data should always come first.

There is no guarantee that they will unfreeze your funds on kyc, since you violated their TOS, they already have upper hand over you.

So you shouldn't be using them because your country/area is banned from the website? I really dislike HitBTC, but what were you expecting? If they say you can't use, and you still try to do that, then that's your problem.

Have you tried to contact their support? Maybe they close your account and give your coins back.

Everything on this platform is scam and was designed to cheat beginners so that prices were tampered with in order to attract the user's greed.
Hitbtc considers the worst one by the standards, so the crazy price hike does not entice you. They are opportunistic fraudsters.

If you are caught that you are not from country they are serving you can just request to withdraw your funds, they will caught if you try to change your IP by using a VPN or using other people to login and trade, they can see your log and your residence unless you have a friend that is willing to do KYC for your part.

You have learned a good lesson from this case, I believe.

Next times, when you have interests and in decision-making procedure to invest in one coin, please take into consideration how many available exchanges that coin has.

If there is only one exchange available, it means you have to take a bit high risk because there will be some scenarios that you don't expect to see but they always can happen.

1. That exchange delists the coin: You won't have another exchange to sell your coin.
2. That exchange makes a scam exit: You lose your coin.
3. That exchange requires a mandatory KYC: You won't do KYC, you lose your coin.
4. That exchange prohibits users from your nation: You lose your coin.
etc.

Usually, there are window times for you to withdraw your coin but it is not strange if sometimes you won't have a window time to do that.

I'd rather left my coins there than sending KYC details to HitBTC. Based on the recent cases, there'a very strong feeling that HitBTC are either going to exit scam or go insolvent. Better avoid them while you can. There's no guarantee that you got back your tokens even after you send your KYC details.

Yes country residence is needed for almost all the centralised exchanges but i can't ensure that he can't change his info later. Those info should include full name and residence country, so if he will look for someone from that country to help him verify the wrong input, he will have to change his name.
By contacting support, i think he can change his personal info in order to verify it later.

There are many cases the same as yours using HitBTC as the other said Avoid using it.

If you want help with where you can sell your coins much better tell us if what coin you are talking about. So that we can suggest some trusted exchanges where you can sell your coins.

It seems that you already deposited your coins to HitBTC.
If that's the case there's no chance/way to recover them back.

As he claimed to be from another country, then he didn't provide his real address when registration. It means that his identity set in his profile doesn't match the address he gave.

Op has no way but to try explaining to support his good willingness and provides proofs about his real location.

If it's possible to send funds between users in hitbtc, then you just have to search about verified users and send them ur balance. This is too risky but you will have to look for better ways to do so.

You should have waited for another exchange, that is a very risky move, I think you already know that this might happen but you still register even if your country is ban. They have the right to ask for verification because in the first place you are not allowed to trade in their exchange. I guess there is no way to get your funds back you violated their terms.

You should avoid hitBTC exchange, and check forum first, as there are many accusations against them.
Only way to get your coins now is to go with KYC, or get someone else to do it for you.
