but last I heard you can make direct deposits of your Litecoin to your PayPal account.
Do this if it allows you to. (Not really sure because I haven't used PayPal for years, got banned for whatever reason btw.)

Alternatively, Binance or ByBit P2P has a PayPal option I think? Just make sure to transact with people with a really high reputation so you won't lose your money due to chargebacks.

I think it highly depends on your location also. There are probably a number of countries where crypto direct deposits on their PayPal accounts are still not allowed. I'm not a hundred percent sure but even in countries where cryptocurrencies are already supported, there might still be users who are ineligible for such feature. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

But if through exchanges, it's always better to just choose the most popular options like the ones you mentioned. I'm puzzled how OP ended up with boomchange. Haven't heard of it.

i tried doing boomchange and got scammed

You should use a good exchange that is familiar to crypto users, such as Binance, HTX or others. Using a new and unfamiliar exchange carries a high risk that make you will lose your money. Most of them will probably get stuck in the withdrawal process.

As far as I remember https://www.htx.com has a P2P method that supports Paypal. But I can't test it because my Paypal has been blocked for a long time. Or maybe you can use other payment methods there according to what you want. I see it has a lots of other payment methods or bank accounts. You can find it in the fiat settings menu. Maybe you have to do KYC for withdraw.

I don't know which country you are from, but I think PayPal is already supporting Litecoin. I have not updated myself of the latest developments, but last I heard you can make direct deposits of your Litecoin to your PayPal account. And if you prefer to convert your Litecoin to US dollar, you can also do that through PayPal. Also if you wish to spend you Litecoin using PayPal, you can also do that. This option might be less costly than if you send your coins to an exchange first for conversion before withdrawing once again to be moved to PayPal.
