Some coins, such as Quark and those that use X11, have 512 bit hash values that are truncated to 256 bits.

Is there such a thing as SHA512 coins?  Also isn't SHA512 still SHA2 not SHA3?  I have also seen SHA3 coins but what's the difference aren't they all the same thing there all SHA?
