Pls. note that if your land lord is a little familiar with computers he will be well aware of who are connected to the wifi.
Besides this you may use electrical wires as internet transmitter.

I have two S3+'s and one Rockminer New R-Box running off of a router turned into a wireless switch that are working just fine. I did monitor both of the S3+'s for a while with one on the wireless switch and one with a direct ethernet connection, and the performance was almost identical. If wireless is your only option it should work. I would have some way to monitor remotely just in case so you can resolve any issues promptly.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the responses. I did email Bitmain, and they told me that none of their products support WIFI and that WIFI can not be added. Lol. But, I'll probably buy an S5 and use one of the above methods. I realize that WIFI might not be the optimal setup for mining, but for my situation, it's necessary. I don't mind spending some extra money to add the capability, but I just wanted to make sure that it was possible. Thank you all for your help!
I used to use wifi all the time, Like others have said, go with a wifi bridge, something with a handful of ports on the back so you can scale up in the future with more miners. THey are cheap and easy to setup and as long as your signal is decent you should have no problems.. heck you can even purchase higher db antennae which would give you greater range and signal.

You can add wifi to any miner you want...just use a wifi router as a bridge...or for just $40 buy a rasberry pi with a USB wifi dongle.
I personally like going with the router myself. If you get one with right modes you can connect to wireless and have 4-5 or so ports on back. So is very nice.
I still like ethernet though. I personally will not be doing my miners wifi. I see it as last resort.

I wouldn't vouch for going for a WIFI miner though, and that bitmain decided to drop it for their (now EOL'd) flagship S5 is telling.

All S3's come with WIFI in addition to an ethernet port, but because they are enclosed, the connection tends to be unreliable, however, that can easily be fixed by adding an external antennae (which should cost around $5).
You can also get a router yourself and bridge it with/to your neighbour's router then connect your rigs to your router.
There are loads of S3's (and the variants) on sale on ebay, amazon, gumtree etc, just do a search on any.
Thanks Philipma1957, that was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted to know if WIFI capability could be added to the standalone miners.
I don't pay for electricity, and while I can't take advantage of that to any extreme degree or my landlord would yell, I figured running something like an S5 would be a good way to passively generate some extra income. Every little bit helps!

wifi sucks in many locations. how would you like to have 10 s-3's burning 400 watts a piece and wifi dropped. so you are spending 4000 watts of power for nothing.
That said both the s-3 and the s-3+ should run wifi. And the s-5 can be adapted to wifi with this
in fact any ethernet miner like the sp20 the avalon 4.1 the amtminer s-1, s-3, s-3+

I was looking at the Antminer S5 and emailed the company, but they told me that it only supports an ethernet connection.
