They have recently changed their chart to miss out the rise to $435 today. The highest price it now shows for today is about $357. It must have been a glitch in their charting software.

Yep it was sometimes a site gets a weird loading error and the price spikes for no reason
Then again if only it were so easy to cause bull rallies  Grin

Lake BTC's own site doesn't show a spike. This seems to be Coindesk screwing up all by itself.

Coindesk: "The CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index provides the latest and most accurate bitcoin price" ... "international reference point"

Yeah, right.  They're obviously not doing any validity checking. If there's a sudden big divergence between exchanges, that's an alarm condition in the real world, where those numbers feed trading engines.

well it sure is fun to watch. It's just trading away from 435 to 434 to 435 again.  I would highly recommend it.

Lol, I deserve that.  But seriously, check coindesk.  They still got the price at 435.  What's the deal?

Doesn't seem to be news related.

Correction:  apparently only coindesk has the price at $435 for a 25% increase.  No one else seems to be showing that. Must be a coindesk issue.
