There are quite a few networks with p2p functionality I think.

There was a Swiss p2p phone "experiment" at some point. There are other things that companies have done (like allowing users to pay a $30 fee to use each others WiFi - I think there was a provision of 10% of the bandwidth for those who opted in so it wasn't noticeable).

There is a lot of publicly accessible WiFi networks too (I'm only using the Internet as an example as your phone likely prioritises it for calls and texts as it's more secure - and normally more reliable - than using cell towers). These sorts of "decentralised" systems only work well/are reliable when there are enough devices to carry the signal afaik too.

Is there any communication company like Vodafone but running on blockchain system that are fully decentralized or centralised? I'm just curious if there is any that's presently functioning.
