However the pool found a few blocks but my transaction never got confirmed with this method. So I have no idea how to get ViaBTC to work.

ViaBTC, like any pool, gets sometime more blocks, sometime less than the average you'd calculate by how many % of the global hash rate they have.
The result is that sometimes they don't find blocks for long time and it may happen that it doesn't work as expected. As written here, there may be that in such cases they'll try to include the tx in a later block they find.

Regarding ViaBTC, I don't know if anyone has had luck with it. But it never ended up working for me. I tried everything, eventually I got lucky and submitted the Trans ID at like 04:00:01 and it said it was added to the queue and then I tried to submit it again and it said its already in the database.

I used ViaBTC accelerator personally before and recently, and it work every time. If transaction is successfully added then it is confirmed with first block which is mined by them. Of course I'm talking about their free service here, and considering how many people is try to use it, I'm surprised that it works even is some cases.

Maybe you just did not have luck with that transaction, it was some error on their side which is show that is submitted, but this was not case.

Thanks for everyone that replied. I basically ended up just doing the Child Pays for Parent and it confirmed pretty much right away. If I just waited it looks like it would of confirmed anyways since the fees eventually caught up on the backlog.

Have you tried to rebroadcasting it first it may help to notify miners to don't forget the stuck transaction and it may help to prioritize your transaction?
Can you please stop recommending this as a method to speed up transactions... rebroadcasting does absolutely nothing unless the transaction has been dropped from the mempool... and even then, rebroadcasting does not push your transaction to the front of the queue or prioritise it anyway. The queue is generally determined by the fee used. If your fee is low and your transaction is at the end of the queue, it is still going to have a low fee and be stuck at the end of the queue if you attempt to rebroadcast.

In any case, it is highly unlikely that the first node you rebroadcast it to will even re-relay it as they will note that it already exists, so there is no need for it to be re-propagated to the network.

If the unconfirmed transaction is still showing on blockexplorers, then it is most probably still in the mempool of the various miners... and rebroadcasting will achieve nothing.

Can you post your TXID here I can help you rebroadcast it to some pools. Before you use any paid services to accelerate your transaction.

If you don't want to publicly post it here you can do it with your self by getting the raw transaction and submit to this list below.

- https://blockchair.com/broadcast
- You can also load the raw transaction in Electrum and find other servers and broadcast it again.

viaBTC does work, you just need to be ready to submit at the top of the hour, on the dot not 30+ seconds after.

I believe their paid version works regardless of time. Do you mind sharing the transaction id?

edit: haven't tried using this one but btc.com has one

Been a while since I've had to use one. However I got a transaction stuck for almost a day since when I made the transaction the fee was adequate then Bitcoin went on a crazy rally right after and people used higher fees and my transaction is still stuck.

A few years back I used VIABTC but it seems to be always full like before. The only other one I found was Antpool transaction prioritizer however it doesn't seem to work because they found like 10 blocks at least after I made my request and its still not confirmed. Its listed on the "accepted list" instead of the "illegal transaction format" so it looks like it read the TX id but doesn't seem to be processing it.

Wondering if there are any services that work these days?
