Farewell, Leo
Disclaimer:  Not a financial advice.

We all knew a 30% dip was coming. If not now it would have happened at $100K. Probably will happen at $100K!
Yes, corrections must happen, otherwise it is a bad sign. I'm pretty sure that this bull run isn't over, unlike some panicked investors. There are lots of price spikes waiting during the Q4 of 2021 and it'd be dumb IMO to sell your sats right now. We may never see Bitcoin again at $40k.

The history seems to repeat itself, now with Elon Musk instead of McAfee. Not to mention what is waiting for us in this summer:

Investment banks (GS, JPM) are going to begin to commercialize crypto investment products to their clients but these products won't be available until Q3-Q4 2021.

So, I'd recommend everyone (including the person with those alt accounts above  Roll Eyes) to have strong hands!

I'm not surprised that the alts are tanking, but BTC sat out of this most recent crazy growth phase. It shouldn't be dropping as much as them, yet here we are.

Yes and no. Was looking at potentially pulling some money out to help with moving out, dental bills, etc etc... and now a dip happens literally a week or so before I was planning on doing it. So I'm left with a "well fuck me" moment because if I pull some out now it's only going to be losing value more than when I was previously planning.

If I had money to spare to buy in, sure, great, awesome...

Bigly. It is good for the price to shake out and settle before driving up. Those of us who have experienced this before on the last bull runs don’t give two shits.

Loving every second of it. Glad to see Elon stop his mindless cheerleading. Glad to see a pumpers getting wrecked. Bitcoin doesn't need cheerleaders.

Real Bitcoin crashes are known to shave off 80%. We may have a lot further to go. Or we bounce back to 100k and then drop to 20k. Noone knows, so just keep stacking.

This is one of the most over played sayings ever used. People buy a stock or asset and it drops 20-30% and they try to rationalize it by thinking it’s normal and ok. Dips happen and things occur with markets but one person being able to take hundreds of millions from market cap is not normal and shouldn’t be treated as such.

I think it happened earlier than it would have and therefore will be less severe.

Bitcoin does Bitcoin things
Either you think it will be worth $100-500k+ one day in future, or you don't: I stopped worrying about price movement years ago, and I'm much happier for it.
I think BTC has a reasonable chance of going to $200-300k in the next few years, so I buy when I have spare cash I can afford to lose, and then I wait and see what happens. Either I lose a bunch of money I can afford to lose or I get a lot more money... anything that happens in the meantime is just noise

I think a lot of people who invest in crypto, including a lot of us, are overestimating their willingness and ability to take risk. If you are selling now, it’s likely you would have sold 10 times in the last 10 years, most likely diminishing your returns, not beating DCA & HODL, worst case incurring losses although at some point you bought btc below $1000.
There’s nothing wrong with taking profits or stopping losses but a better way than selling out of fear on the way down is to plan and act accordingly.
If you look long enough you will always find a matching pattern or conspiracy theory. I’d love to believe it’s some evil geniuses manipulating the market but let’s face it, this is weak hands selling, including a lot of us.

I hate the feeling but at the same time I'm relieved it finally happened. We all knew a 30% dip was coming. If not now it would have happened at $100K. Probably will happen at $100K! This price action is totally normal for bitcoin, my resilience atrophies during the bull runs.
