all power cords, psu, etc are rock solid secure.  always.

yes the mobos are slightly flexed on the rigs that are sensitive as I didn't have proper spacers at the time.

It usually means your power cable has worked itself loose. Try pushing them firmly back into the PSU again.  Wink

Check if the motherboard is flexing any.
I have one PSU here that does this because something is wrong with the 24-pin ATX connector. Also, I've had several motherboards be sensitive to flex (open bench on motherboard box sagging)

All I have to do is bump any of my rigs ever so slightly and the damn things freeze.  Anybody else have this issue?  I am wondering what is the cause.

Cards and mobos are screwed down on wooden cases for now.  Wooden cases are on metal shelves.  No computer parts are touching metal shelving.  Risers are all the older ribbon style.  I don't think I had this issue when I was using plastic shelving, I can't say for sure though.
