Yeah i would have guessed about that much too.
And most often it is not worth the cost i think.

My Motorola E 2015 was cheap when i got it at around $150 and it's been on sale at times for as little $8 (black friday sale way back)
Average cost i seen in stores is around $80 right now i think too so you should prob just get a new one.
..don't forget to take out your memory card if you had one in there Wink

I noticed a massive hardcore increase in battery life too using Battery Saver mode 24/7 too eh.

http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries
http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-tips-for-extending-lithium-ion-battery-life/

I had been doing what that said for advice all along i figured out too.
And my battery last me ages.. it never runs out.. i eventually charge it when it's getting lower'ish after like a month.
Other people i know can't run their phone for a few hour with out it being dead.

Me using it every time i go our on average for 5 hours playing music and some times at home.. it last about a month per charge.
I even use a higher voltage charger i found at a library that is not a fast charge one and neither is my phone able to do that but it does charge faster than the default one it came with.
(i looked it up my Qualcom chipset supports Fast Charging but Motorola did not enable it)
So even with using the charger that works in an hour or two instead of 10 hours i still have a fresh battery after all this time.. i have been using my phone since September 2015 and my battery is still rock solid !
i think it's standard 3500 cheapo shit battery too LOL

Managing your battery is fucking tantamount to keeping it alive for a long time.
I had always tried to avoid plugging it in or charging it.
You get an estimated 200 or 250 cycles they say.

Advice is charge it fully by letting it get empty occasionally.. like once a month.
Or top it up when it's like half way more often.. but STILL avoid charging it unless you need to.
The links above say that Wink

Today i was looking at mine and it said like 44% and i figured screw it it didn't need charging.
I just checked now.. 43% hahahha
..after 17 months of use !

If you know you are not using it over night etc turn it off too !
I also disable my WIFI all the time when i don't need it on.

TIPS !!!  Cheesy

You're screwed Wink

Not that i know of but Google is testing live app's for Android.

Sounds like you broke the Digitizer underneath the glass.
Not good..
You are screwed Sad

I fucked up a cracked phone trying to replace the glass before.
I ended up tearing the Digitizer underneath on the Samsung Galaxy and then sold it on eBay as is.
It worked fine too just that the screen went black after that.
It was old and i got about $60 bucks for it so oh well.. plus i paid 0 for the phone anyway.

Mistake i made was not using a heat gun.
If the glue shit in between the glass + Digitizer is not heated up hot enough it will rip the delicate screen underneath when trying to pry the two apart.

..lesson learned i guess.

I have a Tablet right now that has massive cracks all over it.. too scared to fuck with it now LOL

Good luck.. you're screwed.

Well, thanks for your positivity (jk) it's okay, I understand.

I asked some people on how much the cost of it being fixed and it's around $100~ and that's a lot for me, and it seems not the right thing to do anymore with that amount. The repairman said that both of the screen and the upper layer is connected, it is one with one another, so it needs to be both replaced. And now, I'm more screwed than ever.

Thinking about what smartphone I'm going to buy now.

Hi, I'm wondering if there is someone who could help me with my problem. Recently, I broke my mobile phone due to lack of safety and my the screen died. The phone is still working, it can be called, contacted, ring through google android manager etc. Just that the screen is non-existent, just black. I'm wondering if you can open an app remotely using PC in order to control it or something.

Any suggestions guys?
