I've been a member since 2017 but somehow have not been able to earn a single merit. lol. Does anyone else also have trouble and what can be done to increase ones chances of getting some?

It's unfortunate that it took you two years before you earned your merits while others only took months before they earned theirs and rank up, yours is not an isolated case many newbies experienced that, some of the reasons are not reading the forum rules and not contributing enough to the discussions if you think that you are following rules and contributing but you are not still getting merits then find some members who are generous and had a thread for newbies and low rank to qualify their posts for merits.
He's been part of the forum dated in 2017, probably 3 or 4 years up to now and he got 300+ activity only. Quality over quantity, but I think few of your post that you think is giving contribute to the forum is less appreciated or none helping at all so you have a hard time earning merits. Besides it is not easy for a newbie to earn mass merit unless you break something in the dark that none of us was expecting. That could boost you up to member or even full member.

I once had a thread about giving threads for newbies, I think I helped about 10 newbie accounts or more to rank up hopefully I can create another one soon.
hmm I didn't see that thread of yours, but I hope it was done in a good and quality way. We know how most of the newbies these days, they are just shilling something or complaining and not contributing at all. Best luck.

Spammers should be the one who are more concern on not getting merits, you will eventually get one if you are contributing enough to discussion on this forum, if you think you are not getting enough merit, then look for members who are generous and created a thread to nominate your posts to merit, it's the easiest way to get merit bit be sure that you have a good number of posts.
Indeed. If you are not making good quality posts or not making contributions here in this forum to help other members. You shouldn't be complaining from having a hard time earning any merits because you don't deserve any merits if you are only making spam posts in this forum, so you could try getting into a signature campaigns to earn crypto.

It took me a while, but I was able to investigate his account a bit deeper. As I reported here, he's nothing but another bounty cheater, probably as part of an account farm.

By looking on a person who gave him merit, it is obvious that he is a part of this persons farm or just bought this merit. Take a look for what this merit was given. Of course merit is not moderated and anyone is free to give it for anything he wants. But the guy posted in 2 years old topic with partly copy/paste from Forum Ranks topic. It is obvious that there is something shady behind this merit.

Me also the same condition like you.
I joined this forum  in March 2018, but till now I have no merits. That's why my rank is not up.
At beginning my rank is automatically up as Jr. Member but after few days my rank automatically decrease and become a newbie again. LOL😅
Looking at your post history, all I see are bounty campaign reports and nothing much else, so no wonder that you are still stuck at newbie rank for so long, and if you continue with that practice, you will stay there for quite some time.

This forum is huge with vast amount of knowledge and it is a shame to focus on one tiny part of the forum that is keeping you at the newbie rank. Be more active in other boards, learn and share knowledge and you will rank up. As simple as that.

It took me a while, but I was able to investigate his account a bit deeper. As I reported here, he's nothing but another bounty cheater, probably as part of an account farm. Since we also have a ban evading, I wouldn't be surprised when he gets autoban instead of merit. Wink

I checked your posts and I did not found any of them that deserve one single merit. Posts in bounty thread reporting link, are in the rank of spam. it is not read by managers either and especially not old high ranked members or merit sources. When you post in other section than bounty, it's mostly part of some pointless discussion on useless mega threads, which also no one reads or is interested in. These threads serve to fulfil post quota for signature campaigns.
You need to stop with posting just to write something here, try to be active in discussion and talk with other members here. As @Bttzed03 says, find something that is close to your personal interests and find topics about it, then discuss there, be constructive. It can be gambling, poker or whatever.

I am not having trouble with it because I am not thinking and expecting for it, if it comes that's good if not still good, don't frustrate yourself in having merits, merits are just extra bonus, the knowledge we learn here in the forum is the real thing. Just behave and communicate with other people , let us improve ourselves and keep learning maybe someday we can help other members too.
Well said there, @LbtalkL! IMHO, maybe OP should do some introspection first like, "Why am I having trouble gaining merits? Where do I lack? Are my posts relevant and/or informative? What can I do to improve?" Something like these. He could also ask for other's opinion. After doing that, he would know the answers and can actually do something about it. Not just ask who else is experiencing the same struggle and ask others for sympathy.

And you're right. Don't think too much about merits. There will be someone who will appreciate your posts even without asking for it. Just exert more efforts and strive to learn - always.

You can easily rank up and get merit if you keep contributing to our forum with the use of your knowledge related to the question and makes additional information to the OP and other members.

Also, you can be creative like creating a website or a game with the references to our forum.

Most of the time there are some events giving merit also some of the members are giving too just to help other members to rank up just to comply with their requirements.

Me also the same condition like you.

You cannot get merit easily because most of your content is all about bounty reports. Merits are given only to the member who makes a good and constructive post.

Yet despite that happening on the 17/09/2018 (see Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements), the numerous threads on the topic, and the wave of giveaway threads, you still prefer to focus exclusively on bounties, which is completely your prerogative, but that is a path that shies away from merits. You're not really a Newbie because you have no merits, but because you have not attempted seriously to write non-bounty related posts that may lead to earning some.

Hey Buddy,
I have gone through your post history and found out the reasons why you haven't earned any merit so far, I'm sorry to say this but if you really want to change you could take some steps forward to avoid this incidence of lacking merit if you want to earn and move forward.
Here are simple reasons why you're short of merits since 2017.
[1]. You probably a low and average quality poster.
[2]. Your account is completely created for bounty hunting and your post history is all about bounty reports.

Those reasons above restricts you from earning merits, you could go through this link and read more about the merit system, rank and activities.

Merit begging, burst posting, plagiarism which he even submitted for merit consideration. Impressive!

Less than 4 minutes after SomeJasonGuy created this topic, he sent me a PM asking for Merit. This was my reply:
How about you make at least 1 good post first?
I've reported some of your posts, the Merit system was created to stop spammers from ranking up. It's working just fine!

Marcel

It looks like you're trying really hard to earn Merit by creating generic posts that don't add anything and aren't worth reading. One of them looks like plagiarism, but I can't find conclusive evidence.

Also OP don't give up although its really hard to get a merit but I guarantee you that its really worth it when you got and rank up.
Please read a few posts above. OP plagiarised and intended to plagiarise in order to earn merit. He applied the plagiarised post in a smerit giveaway.

I wonder that you only read OP and write your post. The topic is on the third page then it is not enough to read only OP.

Sometimes it is really not harmful to read what is written above. It seems like some people only think about the number of posts for their subscription company.
As I wrote above OP, most likely, this is not your forum. Cooking or something else might inspire you more. OP, being an old member, you haven't even learned to read the rules.

It's funny to realize that he is wondering why he is not gaining any merits having posts that are plagiariased and mostly aren't helpful to the forum.
For me this OP is merit begging. He might be thankful that someone gave him a merit. But just found out that he is has posts that are plagiarized.

Select those boards where you post since if you just stay on spam mega threads as well look at the quality of your post.

But what most important is be constructive make sure your post is contributing to the topic as well help others by answering if there's a question as since its merit worthy if you guide some people if they didn't know on what they are doing.

… And while at it, why not propose the post for a merit or two in a Merit Giveaway:

Re: [OPEN]| Smerit monthly giveaway | Concentrating on Alternative Main & subboard.
The above goes to prove intent in plagiarism. To be fair, it’s a bit more than a simple copy/paste, as it goes on to changing some words and omitting some phrases here and there, but the essence is not a summary, but rather a copy/paste/spin.

One could sometimes wonder if the person left out the link, but postulating the content for a Merit giveaway leaves no doubt in my mind that the intent was to pass someone else’s work as his, this is plagiarism in action and intent.

maybe the OP forgot getting merit wasn't just because of how much the posts it made. However, merit will be given by members because of their perspective to see the post itself. We don't need to create a lot of posts, just make sure if the posts is make someone thinking it deserve to get merit, such as based on the fact, based on experience, fun to other, or something else. For example, I am giving your post one merit, because I am happy with your activity, which sees the OP's activity that wants to get merit but what he/she doing wrong. A simple thing, but it will change my perspective.
It is not. OP made posts (after have first merit and was able to wear signature) is to spam. You can count how many one line posts were made. You can see how short time two posts were made after each other (1 - 2 minutes).

Hey. OP will lose the signature soon.

Compound

Compound is one of the leading DeFi companies today. It’s token saw massive price gains soon after it was offered to the users of Compound. A user can immediately start earning interest on their crypto assets by contributing to the Compound’s liquidity pool. The interest rates fluctuate depending upon the supply and demand of respective cryptocurrencies. As of August 19th, 2020, over $800 million is locked-in under Compound protocol.

MakerDAO

MakerDAO currents hold the largest market share in the DeFi sector with over $1 billion in assets. MakerDAO is the most recognized player in the DeFi market. A user that knows about DeFi would have heard about MakerDAO too. It is a credit platform that is fully decentralized. It’s DAI stablecoin currently ranks among the most used stablecoins in the market.

Uniswap

Uniswap is a fully decentralized exchange. However, it is different from the other decentralized exchanges as Uniswap leverages liquidity pools. Users on the platform receive rewards for providing liquidity to the Uniswap protocol. They are rewarded with a share of the fees that Uniswap earns after each transaction. So far, the Uniswap users have locked in over $100 million in the Uniswap liquidity pools.

Dfinance

Dfinance is an innovative and unique project which is blessed with a renowned and experienced team that has a track record or integrity and excellence in the cryptocurrency space and is committed to the success of the project. This project has quite a few innovation features and I personally liked their wallet and interface a lot. They also claim that you can create your own financial instruments which seems very interesting.

Bancor

Bancor is a non-custodial DeFi platform offering users a way of swapping the crypto coins without the need for a centralized trading service. The DeFi platform also offers smart tokens to its users to increase the liquidity in the protocol. Currently, Bancor has so far accrued more than $11 million in crypto.

It's not hard to earn single merit if you share or give an informative thread because there are a lot of members right here appreciate all the things even a little one line if you answered or share a good information.

I've been a member since 2017 but somehow have not been able to earn a single merit. lol. Does anyone else also have trouble and what can be done to increase ones chances of getting some?
I feel you mate even  i didnt recieve any merit coming from someone else, in my third year in these forum i havent recieve merit maybe its due to my low quality posting but i admit it. Im still happy reaching the full member rank.

Hold up. I think this is not a good idea settled into a full member and does not become a quality post user I think this is too bad don't settle your thing if you can achieve more always make another path or journey and try to increase the quality of your post to gain merit it's not hard if you deserve it.

I hope OP does not become this kind of user too also I encourage other members to make a constructive post to increase the quality of our forum too.

You are not earning any merits because your post aren't that meritable. Plus you have been inactive for about one and a half year.
Your past posts aren't helpful to the forum. Usually, other members here merits a post if it is constructive and is quality. Meaning it contributes to the forum and helpful to other members. And usually you are doing bounties which increased the amount of your posts without receiving any merit.

Bro it's very important to earn merit and the possibility of every member of the forum to be merited lies on the persons post that is the reason people find it difficult to step in to next level,While people find it difficult to earn merit is because of post, creation of topic and the board they specialized, posting or writing in a board that your contribution is irrelevant is one of the reason's people can't be earn merits, secondly, create a topic and research very well on such topic before postings, note: newbies are advice to post in beginners and help board in order to earn merit and also known.
Lastly quality post is the major priority for every members if you want to earn a merit, you most learn how to construct a quality post because merit are given base on positive contribution to the forum.

Well, I do not mind earning merits? Why? What is the relevance of earning merits when you do is just shitposting and messing the forum? Id rather not get any merits than getting but doing shitposts because of bounty hunting from submitting social media reports.

I know that merit is needed to rank up but then what is the essence of ranking up when you can't do the right thing in the forum?

See legend user on how they achieve their ranks? You can see the difference between shitposting style and a quality poster. You can also check their most merited posts. If you can follow them then there is no reason for you to have trouble in earning merit. Besides, the one managing the forum theymos do not like to add more high rank users that are actually rank up because of shitposting. See other legend user that rank up before the rank and merit introduces to which some of them are shitposters. They became liability in this forum and that is why the management decided to give merits to a certain user that could be an asset in this forum.

So now, it should clearly sink to your mind if you can read this posts and start doing great things if you wanted to rank up. In my case, I am happy just to be here on the forum because this is the only forum created by satoshi and manage by theymos. There are other forums created too but bitcointalk forum is best compared to other forum. It may not be perfect but at least it is function as what satoshi wanted to and the forum still in developing stage.

I see you've got merited right there. But that's surely a compensation from a concerned forum user. We are all concerned though but then, it's always simple. The trick is always in your post. You've got a whole lot of activity right there that can boost you straight to Sr. member with the required number of merit but your not getting it because, your post isn't quite informative yet.

Upon viewing your post, I was dragged down to skimming through your profile and for a fact, you do a lot of quoting and bounty hunting! That's not the way to get merited here. Take your mind off those two (bounties and merits) and learn from what every progressive forum user has got to offer then, your sure to do great.
Out here, post quality is everything.

I've been a member since 2017 but somehow have not been able to earn a single merit. lol. Does anyone else also have trouble and what can be done to increase ones chances of getting some?

At times, you earn merit unexpectedly like it just happened to you on this post. Most people who earn merit have more knowledge on some things and they tried to help others with that knowledge on others post.
Or people who ask important question by creating a thread.
So, going around the platform and trying to learn by asking questions might end up getting u a lot of merits.

If you'd indeed been here since 2017, you would have had some Merit by default, quod non. You've been here for hardly three days in two years of time and now you're wondering why you're having trouble earning Merit?

If I were you, I'd not try too hard to get some, because you won't get very far, looking at the quality of what you posted the last days. I'll report some and see what the mods think of it.

While everyone is advising to post some actual useful stuffs that's cool but actually if you don't tune your mind toward been useful on the forum you won't achieve that you seek. I would say first you do some cleaning up on your account, you'll be doing yourself and both the forum (moderators to be specific) a huge favour as it'll reduced their workload.

Start by forgetting the altcoin section if merit is your desire.

I oppose. OP, all section of the forum can used to recieve the merits. Don't go posting on board you aren't familiar with just to go merit hunting. It'll end badly instead try to make an impact on any board you find yourself. Sure it'll be difficult for some board but no harm trying. I merit post on altcoins board so obviously if yours is above average and I come across them, the possibility of them getting merited is there provided I have smerits.

Most of your posts are in altcoin sections where the chances of getting merits is quite less. If you still think your post is worth merit you can participate in different merit giveaway threads. Also you can check this [OPEN]| Smerit monthly giveaway | Concentrating on Alternative Main & subboard. which focus on altcoin boards.

I feel sorry if you are struggling but, whether we admit it or not, the blame is on you. Anyway, forget about the past and try to move on. Better for you to explore the other boards. There's nothing wrong of becoming an alt fanatic but do not isolate yourself inside of it. Find where your other interest and excel on that. And if you really want to have a greater chance of getting merit then be more active from now on (the more entries, the more chances of winning Grin). You supposed to be a FM having 100 pages of in your history but you only have 16. So keep grinding and good luck.

Ps: I actually want to give you one merit to get motivated but unfortunately I don't have smerit right now, sorry.

Hey thanks for the encouraging words. However, i didn't understand this bit - "You supposed to be a FM having 100 pages of in your history but you only have 16." Could you elaborate?
Also, i think someone gave me a merit so it's cool! Maybe i don't think I've been approaching this correctly or been posting in the wrong forums or doing too many bounties. I like giving advice, or posting funny stuff, what's a good section to do that in?

Maybe start by rereading the forum rules? You're posting more then 3 times in a row.

There is no shortcut to get merit. There's no special place to post funny content either. Post something useful and unique,it will eventually comes to you. I'm not sure why you need to gain merits tho unless you want to take part in some sig campaign. With your experience as a (ex)writer for Huobi Global, wouldn't focusing on copywriting services a better choice for you?

oh dang! replies to peoples comments count as posts?? never knew that.
I remember being a Jr Member earlier and now i'm back to newbie that's why i want to get some merit.
And yes, copywriting is actually my niche, but again i don't think that would apply to any of the sections on here... may Off Topic, I guess?

I checked first two pages of your post history and it's clear that you mainly posts on altcoin related boards.

Do you think your posts deserve merit/s? Then submit it at @CryptopreneurBrainboss merit giveaway thread (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/no-rank-barrier-100-smerit-monthly-giveaway-concentrating-on-alt-subboard-5210222) He's one of the few high rank members who merit altcoin related topics. Don't forget to read the rules he set though.

My personal suggestion for you is to explore/read other parts of the forum. It's not that altcoin boards are bad, it's just that most merit sources rarely visits them because it's a spamfest.

Do you have any other interest? Your twitter profile says you're a poker guy. There's the gambling board in case you want to discuss with other poker players.

By the way, this topic doesn't belong to altcoin board. Perhaps it's better suited for Off-Topic.

Hey this was really helpful. Thanks a ton! I am a semi-pro poker player but didn't even know there was a poker section on bitcointalk. LOL!
This feedback was very constructive and if I had any merit then I'd give you some! hahahaha. Cheers!

Could you share some details on what helped you earn more merit over time. The kind of posts you posted, etc?

I've been a member since 2017 but somehow have not been able to earn a single merit. lol. Does anyone else also have trouble and what can be done to increase ones chances of getting some?

You need to post something informative, new or funny in order to get a merit. Your post should be something which other person enjoys reading and give you merit for it. Repeating the same information again and again in spam mega threads wont help you gain any merits even if you keep posting for 10 years.

Ah thanks! what's a good place to post funny content, in your opinion?

You are registered here Feb. 2018 not "since 2017", and you are offline from 27.November 2018 until 20. August 2020, then when you come again, just reposted one of your post two years old. Which is, by the way, the only article from Steemit.

you seem to consider us idiots so you're copy/paste some old news for us, you still expect someone to praise you for it. this is the digital age and Bitcointalk with people here is one of the most advanced. You can't sell us garbage here.

edit: This topic probably belongs to the Meta section

haha yeah that was my bad actually. I remember being a Jr. Member when i was last year and thought it went back to newbie because my activity was low, so i reposted a couple of articles I'd written earlier when I was a writer for Huobi Global.

Oh, complaints about merit have become constant from newbies. Despite that you have been on the forum for a long time, this remains a problem for you.
Perhaps this is simply not your forum. Maybe it's time for you to change your mind and go to cooking or home economics forum. I didn't even bother to read your posts. It can be seen from the reviews that you are an ordinary spammer who hoped to monetize your account. But due to a lack of want and blaming everyone for your failures, you stayed where you started.

I was actually content being a jr member but when i saw i was relegated back to newbie i felt a bit jibbed. It's true that my account does seem a bit spammy but I feel it's because i used to take part mostly in bounty campaigns and I was also a writer for Huobi Global and this was a good place for me to showcase the articles I'd written. However, besides that, I have also offered quite a bit of advice to people on bunch of threads. Maybe I'm not posting in the right threads. What suggestions or constructive feedback would you give?

Not always true because there are merit sources in altcoin sections, from tk08 to Cryptopreneurbainboss. I also received some of my merits in altcoins boards. So at the end, boards don't play as barriers to earn merit,. The barriers are quality of posts and contributions posters out in their posts.

I earned my merits from Altcoin discussion and Service discussion not bounties.

I'd say it's a good 5-10x harder to earn merit from the altcoin sections than anywhere else. It's so hard to be noticed and so few have merit to hand out. That's a fine effort on your part.

Generally,  from my experience I can say that forum members are very fair here and if you write good quality posts they will reward you with merits.
You even have many merit giveaway topics where you can report your good quality posts and ask merits.
Honestly,  if you couldn't get any merit until now,  than check your approach here,  where you write posts,  what you write etc.

Well you’ve got one now, so the OP has served it’s purpose. To move on from there, there are plenty of tips in the posts in this thread, but it all boils down to putting some effort and time into creating content.

There are of course topics, styles and better places to post than others, and Altcoins is not one of them. If you’re into numbers, take a look here to get some insights, and then contrast with the content being created (numbers do not speak for the content, they just point to it):   BitcoinTalk Merit Dashboard.

The first is thing to do is to have your mind far off gaining merits, make facilitating posts in the forum, read and understand the sticky/pinned posts in threads and also get yourself familiarized with the forums rules and regulations, then boom! you'll see yourself gaining merits even without knowing!

I think all of us are rooting for a merit, it is impossible for you to not take merit as your motive.

It is nice to build a reputation and trust for some other users because that will help you grow in this forum. You just need to do what you need to do in order to become a reliable user here. Answering some facts, stating some reality and truths about the surroundings. Sharing quality opinions and information will make you earn merit once you justify yourself with that.

Newbies are impatient with that, as soon as possible, just do your thing, and little by little you will achieve what you want.

Earning merit is not child's play dude, you got to work harder, think better, spread your discussion above 2 or 3 areas, with reasonable contributions, the moderator's eye are really everywhere for us to get our proper recommendation. It was even easier before 2018 to get merit and new rank, but now it is more demanding.

Earning merits is really a reward for your hardwork, reward for you effort and patience.

You don't need to beg for it, you should work for it. If you think that you deserve it, then never hesitate to do extra every time you make a posts. Make a quality discussion, quality posts, and reliable information that will help each and everyone of us in this forum become updated and knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency industry and the world.

It is not that bad to urge for a merit, but I want you to know that never rush things because it will come to you in the right time.

Also, op already said that he's a member here since 2017 (though he registered in 2018) and I doubt that he has not realized why he doesn't have merits. Op, might as well want to try observing why others get merits and what's with their posts that you don't have.

Try giving more quality posts and for sure there's someone who might appreciate and find your post useful and give you the merit you are looking for.

I think you can really struggle with the merit if you are just a member who is focusing on the bounties because the merits are only given to the member who has a good, quality, and constructive post no one will give merit by just sending reports.

Also according to your post, you are a member since 2017 so you will have a lot of time to make a lot of research and understanding what are the possibilities you can contribute to our forum many members left you behind and got their rank up to a full member above.

Hopefully, right now you enlighten that you need to have merit too to rank up. Merits reflect your good contribution.

Getting merits isn't an easy task, for it you need to share some good quality content on the forum, some hot news or useful tools...

But you need to post in other sections of the forum, if you only post in altcoin discussion promoting your steemit account, then you will never get merits.

Share your ideas in boards like Trading Discussion, Bitcoin Discussion, Project Development, and you will get some merits for sure if the ideas are good and clear.

By the way, i think the fact that you are worried about merits deserves one merit, so, good luck and remember, while more involved you get with the community, faster you will grow...

If you know what you are saying or at least have some basic knowledge with respect to a certain topic, then you can definitely earn that merit without you expecting it. Perhaps, it would not hurt you so much if you can spend some time reading articles, bitcoin posts, and any other crypto related stuff that will establish your capacity to contribute on a meaningful discussion later on.

Merit & new rank requirements
I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.
Do you think you have a single post that meets the first hope of theymos?

Writing a welcome message
If you view the forum as some sort of "job" where you complete some basic tasks and get paid, then you will almost certainly be disappointed, and the forum administration will not be sympathetic. If you do make money using the forum, then it will be through innovation and entrepreneurship, not any sort of mindless busywork.

Forum rank

When you start out, you are a Newbie, and you will run into various annoying limits. These limits will be reduced to the point where you shouldn't usually notice them after you have participated in the forum for a few weeks. If you are on the forum to talk, then that's all you really need to know about rank. Don't worry about it too much, and you will eventually rank up.

If you want to maximize your rank, then you need to increase two statistics which are listed on your profile:
  • Activity, which is maximized by posting once per day on average. Posting more than that is useless in raising your activity.
  • Merit, which is gained by making good posts.

Maybe start with posting actual helpful and constructive content. You won't be able to earn merit just by increasing your post count and activity count alone. Your posts must be worthy enough to actually receive merit. It's something like a Janitor asking why he's not earning the same wages as a manager. Something like that. Not trying to be rude, but that's the only example I can think of right now.

I suggest doing some actual reading about Bitcoin. Once Bitcointalk readers notices that your posts are actually good enough, then you'll receive merit. Best of luck!

A lot of member having trouble earning merits but thats because it is hard to do so, but its because some users dont do quality posting.

Merits are subjective but also if your post has been like by others even its only a simple answer to such inquiry or have humor thoughts. Someone will definitely merited you.

Dont post on a thread that you dont have knowledge about, instead focus on threads that certainly you know what you will post. Avoid also posting or spamming.

My advice would not be anything different. If you are looking to rank up you need both activity and merit. While gaining enough merits to rank up may be difficult for some users it is not impossible.

What you should do is go through other sections of the forum and seek out threads that need a proper reply or information. Some merit sources may appreciate that and merit you.

Post in threads where you feel something needs to be added and not just because you want to post. Don't be obsessed with merits though. It can drive you nuts if you look at the numbers too much.

I've been a member since 2017 but somehow have not been able to earn a single merit. lol. Does anyone else also have trouble and what can be done to increase ones chances of getting some?
