hey guys,

do you know http://www.paxum.com? that's a canadian company. it would be nice to see Mtgox take it as a withdraw option and not only as a deposit option.

btw alot of webmaster programs are paying via Paxum.

I'm using it btw Grin

I'm a Canadian looking to buy.  I'd prefer to use a email money transfer as opposed to wires and Mt Gox.  Let me know if you're a Canadian interested in selling to me, I don't think I can email money outside this tax farm (country).

Cheers,
Tim

As Meni Rosenfeld said, the easiest way is probably to say here how many btc you want to sell and and at what price. If the price is decent, I might be able to help you out with a bank transfer or something Wink

I am currently looking at Getemoney.com, though the fact that it is untrusted by FireFox is unsettling.
It has COMODO, but I have no clue how reassuring that's supposed to be.

Are there no Canadians here exchanging BTC for CND?

be paid with PayPal.

Doesn't paypal have a high risk of charge backs and account freezes? They've been getting a lot of bad press lately for withholding funds, and placing the burden of fraud on the seller.
Chargebacks - yes, that's why you should be trading with someone trusted.
Freezes - also yes, but as long as you don't specify that the payment is for bitcoins, I don't think they really have a way to know (I mean, maybe they can if they try hard enough. I do use my real name here on the forum...)

Anyway, you may also want to take a look at https://www.bitcoin2cc.com/ .

Currently, the easiest way for you will be to post here how much you'd like to sell and at what price, and be paid with PayPal. I might do it for the right price.

You'll be expected to send first, so only deal with someone with a reputation.

I'm trying to figure out how to turn my BTC into physical cash, and want to know if anyone from Canada has been able to do so, and what institutions they used.

So far I have my first BTC at Mt Gox, and an account at Libery Reserve, but I'm stuck as to how to get the funds into my own bank account.

Any suggestions?
