I was finally able to fix things up i believe and the rig is online mining

the hardest part tbh wasnt the no signal on screen but thanks to this awesome dude down here i replicated the settings and they work great !

the hardest part tbh was the frequent BSODs and system crash WHEN MINING ETH ONLY on the Ti graphics cards !

after digging a bit deeper i found this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PQY-PKI8Vg&t=504s

apparently most drivers are having this crash issue for LHR cards + the newwest drivers even retrieve the LHR lock back again  Cheesy

so only a couple of drivers fixed my issue Smiley

may i get an input on my hashrate how good is it and am i missing something or can i OC higher maybe ??

many thanks to all of ya boys !...

I'm using the same mainboard/cpu with 8 cards right now (startet with 6 Nvidia RTX30xx cards).

Did you update your BIOS to newest version? Use Flash BIOS Button.

Then you have to update your Bios settings (got the infos from https://simplemining.net/support? ) :

1) Make sure you are running the latest BIOS! (you can also try older ones if newest isn't working)
2) Set device to boot from USB/pendrive !
3) Disable Sound audio card !
4) Enable 4G encode !
5) Set PCIe support to Auto or GEN2 !
6) Enable onboard graphics to default (PEG -> IDG)
7) Set also: power ON on AC power lost, disable virtualisation
Cool Plug your monitor into the ONBOARD graphics if you want to take a look on boot process

Startet mining beginning of this year. For whatever weird reason it only worked with SIMPLE MINING OS
(tried several other mining OS's several times with no success - they either didn't load or start mining) booting from usb-stick (didn't try ssd or hdd).

All new motherboards have settings issues. I advise everyone to use proven and inexpensive motherboards for mining and use Hive OS.

I used the old version of Windows 10 release 2019 for mining, it works more stable than the new one.

i was finally able to boot into windows with all 5 cards but when mining i will get BSOD, ill note this windows version is cloned and under CSM mode, ill probably reinstall windows freshly and disable CSM this time as advised by someone !

those are the settings i had to set to eventually get into windows:-

Bios Updated to most recent windows
CSM still On....
enable above 4g decoding
disable internal GPU
set pcie to gen1
set chipset to gen1

any further advise or guidance would be greatly appreciated because this got to be the most finiky and tedious motherboard i ever dealt with !...

This is a bad motherboard for mining. Are you using a similar adapter?
https://www.amazon.com/BEYIMEI-M-2-Interface-Bitcoin-Ethereum/dp/B09YHDPSC8/
I read that they are not compatible with all motherboards.

Sorry for the weird mistake, am actually using the MSI B450-A PRO MAX with 6x gpu slots !
This is a good motherboard.

Update your bios to the latest version and do the same as shown in this video.
An interpreter is not required, everything is clear there. After that I think everything will work. Try with 1 video card.

Just bought the following components and its gonna be my First AMD Rig, am having tremendous issues getting things to work !

Components:-

MSI B450M-A PRO MAX
AMD Athlon 3000G 3.5GHz Dual-Core Quad-Thread Tray Processor CPU YD3000C6M2OFH AM4 Socket
CRUCIAL BASICS SERIES 8GB 2666Mhz DDR4 CL19 Pc Ram CB8GU2666

2x 3080 Ti
2x 3090
1x 3070 Ti (seems broken i dunno)

I went ahead and connected all cards to risers and then to the board, but am not getting a Signal on my monitor, been trying for nearly 2 days !

Anyone having the same issue of not getting Signal on their monitor ??...

thanks,

How do you connect 5 cards to this board? You connect your monitor with the mainboard or the first gpu? You set the IGP as first GPU in bios? What Powersupply? Enable Above 4G in Bios?

I was finally able to get a signal by resetting the cmos but this time with only one card connected! Also am always connecting via DP to the first card only, then I went ahead to bios enabled 4g decoding and tried setting Gen1 for two PCIE related settings, also again tried setting Gen2, I was able to get up to two cards working today, but when I try to connect ANY thid card I won't get a signal at all ! I tried a few combinations of Gen 2 and Gen 1 but never had any luck and this board is pretty basic there aint much settings to play with I guess !... any help guys greatly appreciated...

You need disable IGP if you want use 5 cards, AMD Athlon 3000G  dont have much pcie lanes.

Also, try to make it work first without a discreet gpu, then add one by one.
