Her guys. I'm looking to move out of Canada and into El Salvador to start a Bitcoin business. Or rather to greatly expand the one I have here in Canada.
One problem I have is I am not able to find a fast and affordable source of Bitcoin inside El Salvador.
I would need a supplier of Bitcoin in large quantities. Probably around 50k per week to start, and more as the business grows.

You are making a really suspicious post here, you said that you are already in Bitcoin business in Canada, but you don't seem to understand how Bitcoin works. You don't need a specific Bitcoin that is from inside El Salvador, you can just buy Bitcoin from around the world, easiest way is from Exchange, and since you don't have any trouble sharing all this in a forum you shouldn't mind doing KYC. And after that you could just put those BTC in your wallet and start your business. And after you get into El Salvador you still could buy Bitcoin from around the world, and use it there. There is no specific Bitcoin that can only be used in El-Savador, all Bitcoins is works in El Salvador.

El Salvador has become an attraction for miners and bitcoin enthusiasts since they made Bitcoin a legal tender. Are you relocating to El Salvador because of your Bitcoin business? Canada isn’t anti bitcoin, you can do whatever it is you want to there as well. I can’t figure out the business would require 50k worth of bitcoins per week. From your post history, you say you are a p2p trader. For your safety and that of the trader, I suggest you stick to exchanges.

Well, I'm not from El Salvador country, but there are some ways you can get any huge amount of BTC you want when you have the money to buy BTC in the exchange market and hodl for the bull run to come before you can trade to make profits.

Who told you that you must go to El Salvador the first country that made BTC legal tender in their country before you can buy BTC, you can use that your phone or laptop to buy BTC from Canada without going to El Salvador country to buy BTC unless you have something in mind towards El Salvador users in this forum you don't want people to know.

No one is going to tell you from where they are on an open forum which is being tracked by various companies and maybe by government too. It's related to Bitcoin and the whole purpose of Bitcoin was to be anonymous. And people on this forum love to keep their privacy and I suggest you to do the same. On the context of the topic, the chances of someone being from EL Salvador than US is low.

Since the legality of BTC there, wouldn't the local banks be able to help you? I doubt they hit anywhere near 1% tho, any bank really.

Not trying to be a smart ass but try contacting Max Keiser?

That kind of money is going to show up on allot of radars.

Fast turn around is important. I need to turn fiat into BTC inside 2-3 days, or faster. The faster the better. I can't really be sending out 10 days long bank wires to US exchanges.
Why move to El Salvador if in Canada you can develop a bitcoin business. I mean what do you want to do in El Salvador with the development of bitcoin that you mean? If you intend to buy, there are many exchanges that you can use and for problems with quantities, even though they are limited, you can use several exchanges. I see the history of your post as more about trading, so why go to El Salvador if you can do it comfortably in the country where you live.

Is anyone here inside El Salvador and able to tell me where I could get such a supplier?
Unfortunately I cannot refer you there with proper information because until now I have never been to El Salvador. LOL

I remember that there is one Hero or Legendary member who is from El Salvador, but I can't remember exactly what his name is on the forum - although I think he was active in the main thread about El Salvador. If he is still active on the forum, he will surely see this topic, but if not, I would advise the OP to try another way to find people who could help with his business.

I found a link that could be of help -> https://www.asobitcoin.org

Its not going to be easy trying to figure out members in this bitcoin forum who are from El Salvador.Although, this forum is supposed to Have Salvadorian, but bitcoin forum does not reveal the identity and citizenship of it's members or users.
If you think you want to promote your bitcoin business maybe relocating to El Salvador would be of great help to you, since el Salvador has bitcoin as their legal tender;everyone there recognizes bitcoin as well.

Bitcoin is a legal tender in El Salvador, and that idea could be mind-blowing,you can be exposed to many advantages as a bitcoin specialist/analyst.I'll suggest you embark on a trip to EL Salvador, research, interact, and conclude more on your findings about your new business idea you could have better answers and solution to what you really need.

Seriously...you have that concern with El Salvador, read your approach again, what is your idea, it seems like a classic to me, casting the fishing rod without bait, that is, a country that uses the USD, as its official currency, which It has the possibility of traditional transfers, there are so many ways to do it, that with an investment of $50k the Salvadoran government gives you all the legal options to do what you ask.

Now you want a BTC cash exchange for $ or the BTC/USD pair, you can get that in many parts of the world, and be careful, the legal issue involves many things, without investigating, but given the presumption of always good intention of the person who proposes it, we assume your ignorance.

As what I understand, you are looking for a person who has a lot of BTC and also from El Salvador, right?. Well, first of all, there's an advice for everyone where flaunting your wealth may cause problem or trouble that's why it is not advisable to flaunt your wealth on public. With your rank as of now, it would be hard to find someone who will trust you and they are sure that they won't oose the money they are going to use for doing business with you.
El Salvador is not the best place to publicly display your wealth.

With his status (prosperously canadian shaking banknotes), it will be difficult to find someone he can trust in the El Salvador. Why? Look what I wrote above.

You are a risky person if you want to exchange money (and quite a lot of it) for bitcoin in the country from central america. Moreover, physically. Why don't you do this in your country of residence, or at least in a transit country where everything is more or less fine? You want to do everything quickly, for which you can pay painfully. In resolving any financial issues, haste is highly undesirable.

Also, when moving from Canada to El Salvador, it is unlikely that you will be able to transfer such significant amounts without unnecessary problems from the authorities. If you're talking about cash.

Finding someone in El Salvador is one thing, finding someone that can connect you to the supplier is another.

I'm with LoyceV on you using an exchange, that will be a more straightforward transaction than trying to o fund a local supplier based off the recommendation of a stranger.

In our local, Spanish forum, we have talked a lot about El Salvador and unfortunately we don't have anyone active from there. I find it unlikely, then, that there is anyone on the global English forum who has not visited the local forum. The only luck the OP could have would be someone who hasn't registered on the forum yet, reads the thread and registers on purpose or someone who lives in El Salvador but as an ex patriate and is a regular on the forum but I can't think of any of them either.

Have you actually thought about your business plan twice?

You need to turn fiat into BTC fast and your problem is that fiat is reaching Salvador to slowly, so you need to go there, but the problem is still there unless you pack your bags full of fiat and do a daily commute between San Salvador and Montreal your flow is still having problems!
How does your physical presence help you there when you will still be dealing with banks?  Grin
Besides I seriously doubt you have to wait 10 days to get your money into Coinbase!

Why not use an exchange? Most of the time, the people who ask for 50k per week are just scammers. You'll have to be convincing to be taken seriously.

Quite funny, the only guy that truly had BTC50k  turned out to be also a scammer  Grin

Large new client incoming.
Hope everyone is enjoying the ride.
Now managing 200kBTC.

So nobody here is located in El Salvador?
You shouldn't really be asking this kind of question because in a way it's kind of a doxing attempt because you're asking for someone's location although in a country but still it's not appropriate to do so imo. But I can't really blame you, it's for business purposes after all, I just hope that this is a legitimate inquiry because if not then it's a waste of time for you and the person that's going to be talking to you about your proposal. Also, it's in your best interest if you post something about the business partnership proposal in the Service Discussion or Services Board, you might find the person you're looking for in those boards as that's where most of the people that are looking for jobs to do or people that need some work to be done stay and check new postings.

What business is that? Based on your post history, I'd guess "trading". If so, why El Salvador?

With SEPA, it takes minutes nowadays, or at most hours to a day.

And a low margin is also vital. Preferably below 1% margin above spot.

Is anyone here inside El Salvador and able to tell me where I could get such a supplier?

I hear I could get my Bitcoin from Strike as they are now located in El Salvador. But for the life of me, I have been unable to contact Strike on this matter.

Any help from someone inside El Salvador would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, PepeLapiu
