After dealing with KNCminer, I've come to the conclusion they are a very unscrupulous bunch.

I've been attempting to get a refund from them for a product and they use every trick in the book to not refund any money.

They claim it takes 3 to 10 days to process a refund.   In practice what happens, is they wait 10 days then look for some additional info they need from you, claiming they cant send the wire, then they wait another 10 days after you give them what they want, then look for more info they need from you.  I suspect they keep this up until its "too late" to refund anything.

So you actually mean you requested a refund and didn't provide enough information. Plenty of people have dealt with KNC customer service with good results. We even have someone who works there posting here on a regular basis. They also sold many thousands of machines which have done well for many hundreds or thousands of customers. Compared to all the other asic manufacturers they are angels.

I was wondering if anyone is using https://www.kncminer.com/products/neptune. Someone told me that it mines 2 BTC a day and breaks even in 2-3 weeks?

Anyone using this?

Also, what is the waiting time for this product after ordering (I reckon a year given the backlog orders)

This product is in pre-order and is expected Q1/Q2 next year.  Nobody is mining with it.

If it arrives around April next year at a difficulty of 5000m then it would mine about .3 bitcoins per day.

I think you might have the numbers wrong. Smiley

If the Neptune comes with the minimum 3TH/s hashing rate my numbers shows with a difficulty of 5700090707 in April (30% increment from now until 25 weeks later) you will still be able to make 1.85281 a week or 0.2646871 a day! Smiley  Let's hope Knc is able to get the hashing rate higher before they release the Neptune B1 and B2 units. Smiley

This is a great site for figuring that stuff out.

I was thinking of manufacturing my own ASIC miners in China.

Btw, I wonder how much most people with one ASIC miner are mining nowadays

We're making about .28 BTC a day with our Jupiter of course it was more two weeks ago when it first arrived.
