I was thinking about doing a group buy for the usb miners when they are available to order again.
What you seem to be proposing is more like a partnership rather then a group buy, since there is no way to split up the large miner to ship a part of it to each buyer. So someone has to host and run it.

Seems like a recipe for disaster, Just work your way out of newbiehood and participate in some real group buys.

We setup a group buy on a hot new product and get multiple investors to buy a share of the profit. I can find reasonable hosting for it and manage the buy.
We can buy something like a Terrahash Klondike setup or maybe a KNCminer.
All good stuff.
