It varies with the specific local power company you are dealing with - but "industrial" is generally a VERY HIGH USAGE (hundreds of kilowatts or MEGAwatts of draw) plan anywhere I've seen.

Hey All,

I have a mining op here in Montana and have a commercial rate from the electric company (Northwestern). In doing some research, I came across what's called an "industrial rate".

Is anyone familiar with how to qualify for an industrial rate?
